@Huskie - yes the support guy told me I go back to the end of the line. My original request was on 8/31. Then after reading some posts I decided to pull the bulk of my BR out, because the balance left had fallen below the magic $500 level. The second request was near the end of September.

I've sent several polite requests, and received the same answers everyone else has:
"Thank you for your email. We can only apologize for the delay with your withdrawal. We are working on getting on top of the delays and hoping this won't take much longer. We will email you as soon as the funds have been sent."
10 weeks and counting..... -
just sent the following email to cake poker, i kinda came off a little threatening but lets see where it goes:
"Dear Cake Poker Support,
It is with great disappointment and anger that I am writing you today. Since September 23, 2011 I have been waiting for a pending cashout to be cleared for processing. During this period of time, I have noted SEVERAL other players, (friends and poker buddies of mine) who HAVE CASHED OUT AFTER the 23rd and have RECEIVED PAYMENT PRIORto me. Frankly, this is completely inexcusable and unacceptable.
I have not even received as much as a personal email regarding the delay of my payment; each email I receive is a generic response to an email I have sent which says your cashier department is backlogged. I will no longer be accepting this as an excuse, it is completely unprofessional and simply put some of the worst customer service I have EVER seen.
Why can't Cake provide me with a timeline of when I can expect my money? Or what "number in line" to be processed I may be?
I really do enjoy playing on Cake Poker and would love to make it my primary poker room as I play well over 60 hours a week, but until I receive payment I refuse to deposit money onto your site. I can assure you that if this issue is not resolved IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER, that the enormous poker communities in which I belong to will be hearing of this horror story. There is no doubt in my mind that if I expose my email correspondence and experience with cashouts on Cake, players will ABSOLUTELY stop playing there. That being said, I really hope to be able to play on Cake, and I do not want to discourage players from playing there yet, but if I must do so then it will be done.
Thank you for your time" -
I cashed out around early october (not real sure of exact date) for the amount of 600 usd. I sent cake this email about a week ago "What is the deal with my cashout?? This is FUCKING ridiculous, am I ever getting MY money?? NOT YOUR MONEY MY MONEY!!!! It takes all of 10 seconds to deposit on your god damn site and it takes 6 months to get money off? Be honest with me will I ever see my money?? TELL ME THE FUCKING TRUTH YOU TERRIBLE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!! ITS ALMOST CHRISTMAS AND I NEED TO BUY GIFTS BUT YOU'RE FUCKING ME IN MY ASSHOLE!!!!!!! AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
They replied with this Hello Andrew,
Thank you for your email. Please note that your cashout will be completed shortly. As soon as it has been completed we will email you to confirm it for you.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Kind Regards

Hello,
Thank you for your email. We are currently working through the backlog as fast as we can. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. -
I sent two emails this week, plus asked pocket fives (who my rakeback is through) to intervene on my behalf.
To my surprise, this came today in my email:
Valued CakePoker Player, Please be advised that your cashout request has now begun processing and should be completed within 48-72 hours.
I will update the thread when a check arrives, and if it clears.
-RM -
requested a cashout 19 days earlier than yours and im still waiting. Who knows how they go by selecting whos next in line for a cashout. Thanks for the updates RM

mine was approved yesterday, waiting on a check now

had a nice score on cakepoker and i attempted to cashout. 3 weeks later, it's still pending. customer support can not give me a defiant answer when i can expect my money. other sites are charging ridicules fees and have a 4 to 6 week process for cashouts. back to live play, looking forward to it especially to wa;k up to the cage and have my cheddar in hand.
-
Anyone on here know of european players using different cashout methods experiencing similar issues? If not im going to transfer my money to my brother in England and have him cashout for me! Seems nuts, but it could be faster than waiting on cake to get their act together!
-
these fuckin sites are pretty bad to rely on especially if your making daily withdrawals.
-
No idea if cashouts are quicker, guessing not because sounds like Cake is having liquidity problems if the average cashout is taking 3 months. Think they are using incoming deposits to cashout out players, but could be wrong.

In terms of cashouts in general though, Cake won't let you cash out off a transfer, you first have to play through a minimum amount of rake (casino games don't count towards this either). -
I'm sure that approach will gain you alot of mileage.

Anyone here using any other sites OTHER than cake and having NO cashout issues? Or are all current sites accepting USA players having issues with getting withdrawals out to their customer base?
-
I'm embarrassed to say I played on Cake before seeing this thread. :(
Huskie, I'll let you know if my cash-out is any quicker than the farcical 2 months that other players are reporting.Originally Posted by huskie2008

I won $4k on Sunday and immediately cashed out most of my Cake balance via Neteller. Today I noticed the funds still haven't appeared in my Neteller account, so I did a search on Pocketfives and discovered this thread.
I emailed Cake asking when I can expect to receive my $$$$. This was their response:
Thank you for your email.
Withdrawals generally take around 3-4 business days via the method you've chosen but at the moment we are experiencing some slight delays so we may not be able to guarantee this time frame. I apologize for the inconvenience caused. We will email you as soon as your withdrawal has gone through. -
He got his check and deposited it already. They approved his cashout literally the day after he sent that email. So...yea...
update on my cashout.
I received the check yesterday, the manager of my apt complex signed for it (FedEx I believe)
I am going to pick it up after work today and hopefully deposit it. Fingers still crossed. -
Check arrived yesterday via FedEx. It was sent from Quebec. The check was drawn on an account based in Ft. Lauderdale. I told my wife, I'm not spending any of it until I'm sure it clears.
Time from request to receipt was 11 1/2 weeks. Not coincidentally, it was processed a few days after Pocket Fives also inquired on my behalf (my Rakeback is through P5.) I also sent about six or seven very polite requests for an update on the cashout. -
I just sent another email about my pending cashout from 9/23. All I get is the generic bs replies.
-
Cashed out 1100 in mid August, and still nothing but generic BS emails... Today I sent a more threatening email, hopefully that works.
I now have a new Dilemma however. I am supposed to move just after christmas. Do I tell cake? I'm afraid that this will just push me back to end of line, then crush my hopes of seeing my money until mid-2012. The guy that's moving into my old place is a decent guy, so I'm pretty sure he can sign for the check and just call me when it's delivered...
Thoughts?

I was in the same boat as you NJO, I am moving like next month, luckily my check arrived recently. I wouldnt tell them you are moving, youll def be put to the end of the line. If you trust the dude living there, I would let him sign for it and forward it to you. Best option imho
-
Since requesting a cashout on 9/28, I have relocated to my winter home in AZ. I sent an e-mail to Cake, and they just told me to load the new address in my profile. I don't believe it has changed my place in line. Time will tell.

I sent Cake support another email on 12/15 about my cashout from 9/23. I did mention threads here and on 2+2 in the email. I received a brief apology reply back on the 15th. Not the same generic form reply I had received to other emails.

In 12/16 I received an email from Cake saying my cashout would be processed within 48-72 hours.
This morning, 12/19, I received my check via Fedex.
Just short of 3 months. Anyone know how quick Carbon or Lock is with cashouts? -
Just sent cake another email on why after 5 months I still do not get a response on whats going on with my money....I will post their response here when i get the same BS i always get
-
Just to let you guys know, if you contact your affiliate as soon as you cashout, they can help you speed it up. I had two max cashouts, one in October, one in November. First one took 14 days for approval, second took 23 days.
-
just another update. I deposited my Cake check last week. Still shows in my bank account, so I'm going to assume it cleared.
I recommend to all those waiting, as others have mentioned, if you have a rakeback, ask the affiliate to intervene as well as sending your own email. That seemed to do the trick for me.
It such a fracking shame we have to go through all this to play the game we love. -
If it makes anybody feel better I'm still waiting on my $300 in Shell giftcards from July of 2010...

Edited By: Liquid_Eyes Dec 24th, 2011 at 04:37 PMGood news: I received my cash-out much more quickly than expected after reading the horror stories in this thread.Originally Posted by huskie2008

My Neteller account was credited 10 days after I instructed the withdrawal from the Cake cashier. -
Edited By: huskie2008 Dec 27th, 2011 at 08:57 PMReason for that is you are doing the cashout via neteller and are a European player. I think the thing everyone with issues here is that they are USA players, requested a physical check from cake... those are the people seeing 3-4 month delays in getting their cashout processed.Originally Posted by Liquid_Eyes

Just a quick update, i cashed out $1,000 back on 10/13/11 and am still waiting for mine. Best guess is that I won't see any of that cash until closer to the end of January or February!
Ugh ... keep us all posted USA Cake cashout players - good to know where the 'line' is at for us waiting for money! Post cashout date and date you received their email etc and when checked arrived....thanks all!
Are you through cake? I have heard similar stories on the poker network cake resides on, but under different skins. When i emailed cake and told them this was the case with affiliate players getting precedence, they refused that was the case at all. Let me know if you are a Cake Skin member of this networking or not.... then I can use you as my example when i email them back!!!!
Reason: typos -
Update for me....just got an email saying that my check has gone to processing and should be processed within 48-72 hours. Ill let I guys know when I receive/deposit/if and when it clears as I get info... this is for a cashout from 8/9 so today is 5the months and 1 day :-)
