Cashout tournaments on Full Tilt

    Im currently playing a cashout tournament and im wondering what happens to the money that noone cashed out? Will it all go to the winner? or be dealed over the final table, how does it work?

    what is the wise thing to do?? There are 18 players left, if i cash out now i get 150$ while 7th place is only 40$

    If you did that often, you would be losing equity since anyone the cashout period ends once you hit the final table, and you get to keep the chips, and get the equity value in cash for those chips at same time. Hence 7th place is getting paid a bit more than in your example, since it would be $40 + the equity value of the chips at the time hitting the final table.

    Shipped (sick brag ikno) the 1k guaranteed cash out on FTP. Think it's a really good structured tourney and really liked the added cash out element. When running bad its very tempting to cash out when you have a big stack but I think there is alot more value in playing till the FT. Be positive, ship it and trust you'll be making the FT with majority chips in play.

    The fact that people actually cash out adds a lot of value to the cash out tournaments. It's never a good idea to cash out any amount of chips, ever.

    Yup, people are getting paid, its just 2 weeks sometimes instead of the usual 4 days to get paid through direct bank transfer. Do not know anyone in Europe having problems with payouts other than them taking a little longer than pre-black friday.
