  1. Which P5ers currently have an account on Club WPT? Curious to know who is playing there, particularly from the US. Anyone had any success in the tournaments?

  2. If you are in U.S.A. you can.t play WPT site.

Its a skin of party poker.
  3. Hi CHOOKTER,

I'm referring to Club WPT, the subscription site for players in the US.

  4. clubwpt is different than wpt.com, one is a subscription based service which is according to all their ads/commercials "100% legal" and the other is a skin of party

    edit: adam wins

  6. Adam, I've played there and it's pretty much horrible. I mean it's basically all freerolls and pretty much all played that way. I built up more points than I can donk off playing the 1000 pt 10 seat sit&go. That may be the easiest game I've ever played. But it's so easy to build up points that even in the games where there are some decent prizes, people are shoving off big stacks early with nothing. Typically 3 to 5 players seeing every flop. It's funny though, I cashed a couple times and forgot about it till checks showed up for like ten bucks, fifteen. I still have so many points that I keep an eye on it for some of the tournament packages you can win. But if you have been playing real money I just don't see where this is going to be something you would enjoy.
    Others may disagree.
  7. Yea it was 300 ppl playing for $3.00 prize pools when i last ckd it out. However now if you want to watch any of the WPT live events on your computer they make you get an acct to do so so ive reloaded it but havent played anything yet...

I have an account at ClubWPT and the ability to watch past WPT episodes is pretty cool. We always get posts about where people can check old WPT programming, and it's available through ClubWPT.com. They also have Entertainment Book discounts, which give you 2-for-1 meals and the like.

  9. it just has the taste of time wasted vs. value of my time ...............but i would like to hear from others on this [i think]

  10. bf really made things miserable
  11. I play on that site. I think the smaller tournies and freerolls are played as play chip tournies. However for $20 a month I can qualify for WPT live events and some decent money tournaments ( 1k, 2k and 10k). SO, for $20, and a safe environment in which to play, you can't beat it.
  12. Has anyone cashed out how long does it take? They have 1,2 10k events and live wpt events to doesn't sound t bad t me for 20 bucks a month...
  13. Yes more info on this site please. How do you qualify for the 10k and WPT qualifier tournys? Just have an account?
  14. When you sign up, they give you 500 TP's (Tournament Points). If you fall below 500 points (or zero points) they will replenish them to 500 at midnight for the next day. You can wager TP's in SnG tournaments or smaller tournaments to build up your TP's to a level to "buy-in" to the 200 TP- $500 rebuy, 100 TP-Late Night $200, Everyday 1k for 400 TP's, 1000 TP 2k Deepstack, weekly 2000 TP 10k, 1000 TP-to a WPT Boot Camp. The payout structure is mainly based on TP's (say top 200 get TP's will top 10 get TP's and cash, for example). These tournamemts mentioned above are the ones that are most like playing a real tournament (not a freeroll). One last thing to note, all the tournaments have a ton of satellites running all day everyday.

ALso, you can read the WPT magazine and a ton of extras as a member.

  15. That's pretty cool. I've been wanting to get on there a little in my spare time, but I need to find a PC. There aren't any in our house at the moment... But I would like to get on there and see what's happening

Hound, have you tried the WPT live event qualifiers at all? I was thinking of giving those a shot. Seems like a pretty simple way to win a WPT seat.

  18. I played Club Bluff a few years back which is now this ClubWPT, even though I had a choice of all poker sites I prefered it to others but that was just because I couldn't lose a bankroll playing drunk or something. Club Bluff was running UB software and it looks like ClubWPT is aswell with a bit of updates. $20 a month for a chance to win a WPT seat doesn't sound a bad deal imo.

Since bwin.party own the WPT I guess they own ClubWPT aswell?
