  2. finally there is one thread, got a lil bothered by the new daily "where should i play" threads

  3. Thanks matze, hopefully its helpful to those in the US that still want to play. If anyone has anything to add or correct based on their experiences, please also post in this thread. I only play personally on the merge network, and Tyson also does not play on all the networks, so some of the comments are from word of mouth and from our daily reading of threads on this board.

  6. Merged from - Intertops Poker or Bodog Poker?

Hey guys, I'm not too concerned with the recent rundowns of Black Friday. Obviously it took down the best poker sites to play on, but I'm not exactly concerned with the Cake network or Bodog being shutdown soon. The DOJ has been going after ftp and PS for years and years and finally got them, so if Cake or Bodog and others will be shut down, I think we can expect it to take a long, long time.

That being said, I'm going to deposit on a poker site soon, and I want the community's thoughts. I am either going to go with Intertops Poker or Bodog Poker as my sites of choice. I'm making these two my choices because they are the only sites that I know of that allow a bank wire cashout option which is obviously much better and faster than waiting months upon months for a check to come.

So which one do you guys think I should join and why?

    Thanks!

  7. Intertops Poker is on the Cake Poker network which has been experiencing many delays in cashouts amongst other problems. See the OP of the thread for more info.

We can add this, but I do not really have much information on this, so will need some input from the community as far as what these sites are, what they offer, how the value is, how secure they are, how the cashouts are if you win, what the service is like, and what games are offered.

Intertops has wire transfer and the cashouts are fast. There main business is the sportsbook and this makes it a good choice for those on the Cake network.

You cannot transfer to Intertops from another cake site though. Its a sportsbook and hence wont allow transfers from a poker site.

I will edit the OP based on your post and one above you commenting on the faster cash-outs on this skin. Thank you.

  13. Merged from: Bodog?

okay this topics probably been started before but i haven't played ol in almost 2-3 months since bf.

and a friend of mine was telling bodog is a legit site and the fbi will not mess with them.(lol)

so can some1 plz gimme some opinions about bodog. if any of you guys like/dislike the site.

support/traffic/methods of withdrawals and how long does take?

    is it worth it?

    thx

Reason: Thread merged into consolidated thread
  14. withdrawals are fairly fast, tourneys obviously suck vs. pokerstars etc. but it's the second best option for US players atm as far as they go, cash games I've got no idea.. You can only play 4 tables at once though as far as i know, and I haven't dealt with support other than getting account verified which was done fairly quickly.
  15. Bodog is straight, they payouts are fast, and you can play super soft sattys for the midstakes tourneys. Tourneys are getting bigger (slowly). Sit and goes fill up way faster than i would have thought, and there are always low stakes cash games to play.

  17. Please see above
  18. Maybe you should try one of them rooms that pocketfives is exhibiting . Those ought to be real good + you might even get rakeback on those.
    I`m sure there`s a link somewhere. :)
  19. No way cashouts are taking at least five to six weeks not two- at least in my case and i still havent recieved my check. It has been a week since they finally said my check request was approved and I still dont have it . dont know abut your timeframe but mine suks......really liked the site and the graphics but the six-seven week wait is horrible..... Bodog seems like a better option. gl

  20. Might just be for some people, have heard at least 5 people report on P5s that their Carbon cashout was under 2 weeks and in the form of a gift card. I have heard other merge skins take 6 weeks though.

  21. Merged from 1st re-appearance since black friday. Just loaded Cake...

    Whuddup thread junkies...

    How ya' been?

    Don't answer. Me too.

    So, here's the question...

I've just taken my longest consistent break from online poker...in probably five years. Now, with my bitter attitude intact, I reluctantly loaded up Cake. I have enough to play decent stakes and decent volume, but would like am honest opinion ( as honest as I can expect from players wanting to stack me obv. ) as to what games you think would be most profitable on this site.

As you may know, my games are... 6max PLO25/PLO50, nlhe'50, low/mid stake nlhe' MTTs. And my two best games by far are PLO mtts, and HU PLO sngs.

Would appreciate anyones honest opinion on the aforementioned games currently running on Cake.

    Things like...

quality of play in given game
frequency/availability of a given game (plo)
    games to avoid
    etc.

    Thanks.
    See ya around. GL

  22. From what I have read on the forums the first mistake you made was using Cake. Probably not what you want to hear but have a read around and play somewhere else?

  25. Everyone just purge and realize that poker on the internet is over for Americans right now. Cake is going to take your money and run.

  26. now bodog its getting gross and all the talk of moving to diff countries is gross[i cant] i feel it might hurt my chances for regulation .fingers crossed merge stays and even gets into the us market ....i have high hopes david jung will try to get licensed if usa regulates ...........as of right now poker is my only way to make any money these days and i'm thinkng about a break from live to concentrate all time online right now..seeems more pressurized to make huge scores and pillow case some money.....jobs are jokes around here let alone finding one

  27. Merged from: Pure-play.com?

Has anyone played on this site. All I know is that it is a subscription based site that allows you to play for $20 a month or something like that. Is it really worth it?

  28. Merged from Hercules Poker

Looking at various sites (US friendly) and ran into Hercules poker. Has anybody played here and cashed out successfully? It's a very small site (700 players at any one give time). I have googled the site and can't find any mention of it here besides a deleted post, forum searches have come up empty also.

  29. Hmm it's obscurity would make me a little skeptical. But Im interested to see if anyone can comment on it, might be another good option out there.
  30. Never played on this site but its on the Everleaf network.

you would be safer playing on Poker4ever or Minted poker. Both reputable sites imo that are on the everleaf network.

I play on Poker4ever and they have always had great customer service(you can insta talk to someone online) and i have recieved all cashouts i have made. They were back in the days of Click2pay and expresswallet tho.
