Do you think it would be possible that a player from the USA who has a friend anywhere in the world with a pokerstars account and teamviewer or similar software could be grinding from inside the US? He could just call his friend to logon and start the software and then just play freely. Ive never used teamviewer or any program similar so not totally sure but I definitely think it could be done.
What you guys think? -
Its been brought up a few times before, on both here and 2+2. More so the few months right after black friday than recently though. stars is looking out for this as they don't want to get into any further trouble since Black Friday. They have a right to see what software you are running on your computer when you agree to their TOS.

There is a recent thread on 2+2 where a guy posted that his money got confiscated on Stars for trying to do exactly what you described and was surprised when no-one gave him sympathy for breaking Stars rules. His account and and his money was confiscated and he didn't want to pay the price for breaking a major PokerStars rule. In my opinion, this train of thought of trying to figure out ways to illegally play on Stars is a lot more risky than playing on a US site that hasn't been shut down by the DOJ, definitely violates both US law and rules of the pokersite, and is alot more detectable than you think. -
What if row guy were to Skype video chat on laptop & point said laptop @ desktop CPU for US guy to see & tell row guy what to click on the desktop CPU that doesn't have Skype open? I wouldn't do it, and agree with Wacky as usual about the whole thing but..

That might be feasible and very difficult for stars to trace, but it would be extremely cumbersome for both parties. If youre asking if that's a technical loophole, then maybe, but I dont think it's one that has any real practical implications.

Locking this thread up - as discussing ways to circumvent a sites TOS is not a subject condoned on the boards.
