I was randomly browsing pokerstars.com on my mobile and there was a popup for a survey, which I completed.
The main subject of this survey was obviously the ease of use of the site etc, but it also included questions about a more 'community-ized' feel to stars. Such as user profiles, forums, and integrated user stats.
One of the recent new features that instantly became apparent to me, was the wee icon in the chat box where you can post that hand to social media sites, including BOOM (created by pokerstars?? :-/ ). So this already implemented feature, albeit in beta, could just be the beginning of a whole host of features regarding social networking and online communities.
Would you welcome these features?
For me personally, I am a fond user of Sharkscope and the likes, merely to track my own statistics, so I would recommend a fully integrated personal statistic page within Stars. But the other features mentioned, I could live without.
P5's wouldn't be too happy about this, def don't want or need another forum - however since BF i do feel the yankees have diminished on this site and there are not as many posts or replies to posts
having said that i would assume that a lot of players would like this, especially all the play money only accounts and everyone else who doesn't already belong to a forum
i certainly wouldn't be posting any shit to facebook or any other site :-)
having buddy lists and getting notification if for example one of ur buddies reached a FT or something like this would be great imo.
