I requested a cheque withdrawal of $220 on April 13th. My documents got approved and they said it will take 3-5 days to process and 10-14 to arrive. What are the chances of me still getting that cheque? And should I be worried about playing on pokerstars/Full tilt after yesterdays bombshell?

you'll get the cheque.... but it'll bounce higher than you can imagine. -
Are you sure? Did you recently get a cheque? pokerstars released a statement saying business will run as usual for players outside the U.S im assuming it'll be the same for full tilt.

When you receive a check you should be fine as i believe they are issued by a Canadian bank. I don't want to say for sure as I've been using e-checks with stars for a while. But i know the checks i get from Fulltilt are issued by TD bank.
I think the biggest issue will be WHEN these transactions are processed. -
Obvi dont request your check in american funds and I think it should be fine.
I had one recently from pokerstars and it was issued out of a bank from Vancouver so I don't see how this should affect us.
Not 100% sure though.
Follow up, I was getting an error msg when trying to load AP...could not establish secure connect...ftp and stars work and when I try to download from the .eu site I get an error...
Anyone else>? -
yup I always got my cheques from a company out of Vancouver, I believe they are called chexx or something similar but I can't remember since it's been so long since I have cashed anything out lol.
I'm going to cash most of my money out now tho and will post the results. -
Hey guys, terrible time for a first post but I've been a reader for many years.
I'm from Canada.
I deposited via mastercard this morning on FTP without realizing that these issues with cashouts are going on.
Any thoughts on the best option? I tried to cash out my buy in so my balance is currently 0, but I haven't heard anything back from FTP other then that it is processing but hasn't been approved or declined.
Should I call my credit card to cancel the tranaction? Is this something they'd do?
I've never had an issue cashing out in the past today. -

"Safari can’t open the page “https://instantplay.absolutepoker.co...ker.zip” because Safari can’t connect to the server “instantplay.absolutepoker.com”.
