  1. Just in case you missed this on Tuesday, the U.S. Government requested a settlement agreement with Absolute Poker and UB. Interesting to me in the documentation was that Absolute Poker's operating license with the KGC had expired. The Government wants to use Absolute's assets to settle creditor claims. Read more:

    One wonders whether today's Full Tilt purchase by pokerstars will speed up, slow down, or have no impact on a resolution to the AP/UB non-payment issue.

  3. My guess is they will have to sell before anyone gets their monies, Maybe someone else will step up.

    I'm with ya on that one. If there's any $ at all, by the time the govt gets their fines and fees etc there will be nothing left for players. Also a great excuse not to pay us since they view it as fundamentally bad or whatever based on the Forbes article that just came out. Pappas is optimistic as always but...
