I did constantly check my bank, and I knew there was some issue. I also know it's not that big of deal, I just wanted to make the point that these kinds of issues keep getting worse and worse, and eventually people aren't going to play anymore until it gets regulated which doesn't look like it will happen any time soon.

I just made a thread about this. I have the exact same problem. If you can't find anyone to swap with, you have to send a cashier's check or international money order. Probably what I am going to have to do.

Got the same email(s) today . Four deposits over the last two months came back . My acct. is now in negative numbers and I think there is still one that has not shown up yet.
I kinda wonder how many players will just say screw it and not pay ?

That's a good question. I am just waiting to send a money order until I know if there a couple more that aren't going through, because they still haven't gone through my bank and they probably won't. Plus I am going to load up my account because it's not very convenient to have to go through this very often.

I'm in the same boat. I deposited about 2 weeks ago to pay a bet I made on p5's and transfer my brother some money and it still hasn't cleared.

It wont even let me transfer. But I can play so I'm sure my account will be negative soon. Can't wait.

It may not be a death blow to the recreational player . But its a pretty tough hit and will stop a lot of them from playing. Myself I would make a 20-30 dollar deposit every other week just to mess around with. If I wanted to play something on a whim I would just deposit with echecks and play.
To deposit with cashiers check means $100 min and who knows how long to wait for it to get there. I dont know if most casual players will go to the trouble.

Damn boys, what the f*ck is going on here? They came back saying four of my deposits couldn't be processed as well. The odd thing is they are my most recent ones. I also have several that were never deducted from my bank account from the past 2-3 months. At least what they took out of my account will help pay off some of what I owe, not hurting my bank account. Negative now though, and Yepppppp.... Echecks in my state are currently unavailable. IL here.

You have to send an international money order or cashier check to the UK, or if you have some friends that play, just give them cash and have them transfer what you owe into your account. Those are the only options I know of atm.

had $220 in my account.....stars said a echeck didnt clear, they raked $200.....3 days later, deposit $300 via Western Union, play in $25 at 8PM, at 11PM they sweep another $300 and say it didnt clear.....I always pay my debts, but isnt this shady? They wit till I WU to take another $300.

So my account is now negative because apparently the echeck deposits I have made over the last month arent going through now. It isnt that much money so if I choose not to play on Pstars any more then will i ever have to pay that money because they don't have any way of getting it from me right? It's only like 130 bucks but I just dont want them coming after me way down the road on my credit report or something stupid like that. Please advise.....thanks...Kyle

FTP tells me to wait 24 to 48 hours to deposit? My deposits have always gone through instantly. So much for me playing tourneys today. WTF, there e-mail response to my echecks deposit attempt said:

I'm pretty sure that is what it always says when you make a deposit. I don't think that it will take that long, I think they say that just to cover themselves in case there are some problems, but you should have the money in your account soon.

Well I sent off a cashier's check to pokerstars today. We'll see how that works out. It was a pain in the ass, but I don't have any other options right now.

PokerStars doesn't "keep the money", the money never comes out of your bank account. So they deduct it from your account, and if that happens to make your account negative, then you have to find another way to deposit the money you owe them.
