it was stars. when you cashout on fulltilt via echecks, how long does full tilt take to deposit funds in your bank? stars was pretty fast, around 2 days.

ya my friend just had the same issue, ohio also anyone have echecks on stars working for them in their state or is it nationwide? Maybe they are having an issue with a processor and are switching so its just temp unavailable..

weird i tried clicking deposit too to see if i could got the same message as my friend, ill shoot em an email see if I can get a reason out of em..

It takes a couple of days but they are charging $50 for cashouts. The last two cashouts outs the banks charged me $50 but FT chips you $50 for the inconvinience. Hope this helps.

About stars i think its the processor over all, don't think it has anything to do with Ohio

PokerStars doesn't "keep the money", the money never comes out of your bank account. So they deduct it from your account, and if that happens to make your account negative, then you have to find another way to deposit the money you owe them.

just noticed the echeck option is gone from my cash out options even tho i cashed out using this feature about 5 or 6 days ago. anyone else having this problem as well? my only option is cashing out by check. not cashing out enough to do a bank wire.

My wifes last deposit was about a month ago, it hasn't come out yet, her December deposit, it came out within about a week. They seem to be very unpredictable on when they withdraw. Her deposits before that, I really couldn't tell you how long they took, but the December withdraw was probably the quickest I have ever seen from any site.
Sorry not much help, she plays on FTP, I don't.

Also, I can no longer deposit to PS via e-check, same message, your state(Indiana) does not allow e-check deposits blah, blah, blah, but am able to e-check deposit on FTP (my wife can, as I don't play there) but am still able to deposit at AP, UB and a few others. On my last e-check deposit on PS, I deposited in December, no problems, deposited on PS in January, put in $800, was about a month later, was a little down, $10.84 to be exact, when my 800 didn't go through ( no fault of mine they said in an email) so now my account is froze, so I just sent ID to PS, and now I have to send a western union, plan on just sending 100 with a cost of 120, so I can at least get out of the negative, but I am unable to log in as my account is froze, so now I have to go through the whole email tag, so they will allow me to log in and use the Western Union option. They sent me an email saying I should be able to have "limited access" as to clear my negative balance, but still unable to log in. So when they decide to let me log on, I will send them money. Kind of a pain in the ass, but it is what it is.

Cashier Check update:

I sent a cashier's check to the UK on February 3 to take care of my negative funds and to make a deposit into my account. It has finally been received and credited to my account today. So for now, it looks like this is the only way I can deposit, and it is going to take about 2 weeks if I choose to deposit using this method. Just wanted to let people who are thinking about depositing this way.

for those of you with substantially negative accounts due to this echeck mess what would happen if you didn't pay them?

Tough spot for the site, and the player, when a deposit is made and the debit hasnt hit your account after months of waiting. Im sure some people will have moved banks and other random happenings. Being that their overseas I dont think the site has any way of coming after you...bad karma sounds like the only thing to worry about

They will most likely not come after you unless there is regulation in the US, but it doesn't mean stealing is ever justifiable. All they will most likely do is prohibit you from playing on their site.

are the sites doing anything to update people? a few weeks ago it told me it was no longer available in my state on both sites.... now it is up on both sites... though i'm wary to use it if it is causing problems with the banks.... simply isn't worth it

Looks like E-Checks are working on pokerstars again..just deposited and it went through immediately.
I am from Illinois by the way. Good news though so i can get my account outta the negative by e-check rather than have to go through western union and all that other bullshit.

I decided to put some money back onto FT last month and used the instant e-check option from my bank account. The deposit was made immediately into my poker account, but the transaction has yet to hit my bank. This was done on the 18th of January.

Has anyone had similar situations? I have managed to luckbox my way to some winnings and was wondering what FT does if the bank dosen't clear the transaction?

You contacted FTP right? Both FTP and stars have been having problems with E-checks. I had to go back to paper checks on Stars.

EDIT: They'll probably put the money back in your account, maybe with a 10% bonus if you're lucky. And then you can choose another withdrawal option. They'll definitely do something; it'll just take awhile. Edited By: leftygrove Feb 21st, 2011 at 10:34 PM

I contacted Stars yesterday and asked them what was going on - I was unable to link up with Echecks a few weeks ago now i can.... below is their response:

As you may know, we were unable to process eCheck in your state through our
previous provider. We are able to resume eCheck processing in your region.
If you would like to use this method to deposit, please proceed to the
Cashier at your earliest convenience.
