Not saying they dont have cash flow probs, just saying its bs if thats the reason. they had every chance to protect the money and they didnt. FT getting slammed by the US govt was inevitable and for them not to be ready is ridiculous -

This is purely speculation, but imo I believe the uncleared deposits dating back to October for some people are to blame. How is FTP just going to magically make this money appear? They were letting people play on money that wasn't actually there. The government isn't going to allow FTP access to American bank accounts, so the only logical place for the funds to come from are out of FTP's pockets. They made shady business decisions and now they will have to pay for that. I have nothing to back this theory up other than FTP releasing these bullshit updates and avoiding the subject as best as possible. FTP may be able to withstand this hit, but they are probably stalling trying to figure out what they can do to save their own asses.

- We will be opening up the FTP Store to US players again. All of the details haven't been worked out yet, but this is how you will be able to use your points. It's expected that everything in the store will be available for purchase except for bonuses and tickets. We will be sure to keep everyone updated when we know more, including when the store will re-open. -

I'm starting to get pissed at the DOJ too for cutting a deal with these sites to unfreeze funds/return player money WITHOUT any timetables apparently. FT has had access to that frozen money for almost a month now and no one has seen a dime of it except FT and international players.
