  1. Seems absurd that they have not put out another update yet.... I know they only feed us crap everytime they put out something, but at least let us know something!!!
  2. +1
  3. huss huss FTP!

  4. Do people still have an expectation of getting their money back anytime soon?

    Write it off.

So when (IF) we do get something back (and I'm not expecting anything greater than 50 cents on the dollar), consider it found money.

You might be right for people living in the US. People outside the US expect to hear an announcement soon about their funds since FTP is rumored to be going back live this month based off last communications. I am hoping they are just waiting for a gaming license at this point.
  6. All I want is a timeline!
  7. ya same,.. def think chances for euros are looking good,..
  8. Might not be the update your looking for but does give some info:

  9. I read on a forum site that we may be required to ask DOJ directly for our money. Any news on re-payment?
  10. This was posted at 2+2. Not good news. I have written off my money as well.

"I was having lunch on Friday (1/6/2012) with friends when one noticed Doyle Brunson walking into the adjacent Five Guys Burgers at 9484 W. Tropicana in Las Vegas. So two of us went over to say hi and invite him to join us.

He said he was waiting for someone to join him. We talked a bit and then I asked if he had any insight about whether Full Tilt would every pay back American players. Doyle responded by saying "I am actually waiting for Howard Lederer to join me, but I am doubtful the players will ever get any of their money back." We left right after that, and sure enough Howard showed up driving his black Audi a short time later. I could have gone back and confronted Howard directly, but didn't out of respect for Doyle. "
  11. What the hell does Doyle know about the situation? Doyles opinion doesn't matter one bit in this situation. I want some solid sources of updates or just don't post iimo. Fear mongering in this thread and some of us just want a reliable and credible source when it comes to updates either from a mod or someone that is respected on pocket fives.

  12. Because their past updates have been so informative and helpful?

I have found Dan's P5s Article updates decent when there is news to report. Besides the sale being green-lighted by the DOJ and FTP's old ownership, there hasn't been any recent news. There is still probably some work for them to do to get a gaming license and other loose ends, but doubt anyone should be giving up hope since in the recent past it seems things are finally looking better. I wish there was clarification for those living in the US whether FTP's new ownership will be handling payouts or if that will be the responsibility of the DOJ.
