Today's update makes it so players can no longer change their country from the United States to a different country from the Cashier. Support can still change your listed country, but it will require proof of address change. Previous updates that went out earlier in the week without comment from me were also just addressing US player blocking.
Here are some questions that have come up since Friday and the answers I have available:
1. will the thread continue for euro players feedback ?
- Yep, for sure.
2. Has any one been able to get in touch with FTP support? I e-mailed FTP black card yesterday and got no response. I also e-mailed support@fulltiltpoker.co.uk and have received no response.
- The .co.uk address should work fine. As you can imagine they're fairly swamped, but are working as quickly as possible through the backlog. Going forward, obviously we're happy to have fulltiltpoker.com back and support@fulltiltpoker.com will be available again for use once the domain has fully propagated.
3. i am assuming i will get my account money back eventually, but what i am worried about is ft points, medals, and iron man status.
- Yes, you will get your money back. If/when US players are able to play again in the future, we will preserve your continuing months for Iron Man (and Black Card status if you have that). Nobody will be penalized in those programs for not being able to play because of this.
4. as for fulltilt points and medals, either some kind of way to convert to cash if we are forced to cashout or a promise to preserve the current value of the points in our account until the day US players are allowed again.
- One of those two options is nearly certain to be the way it will go.
5. Any word on when and if the "My Promotions Page" will become accessible to US Players?
- Sorry about that, it was just a technical error on our side. It should be cleared up now. Let us know if there are still any issues.
6. I successfully withdrew my money and would really love to play at FTP again, but am scared to do so and a little reassurance would be fantastic.
- I'm still here, if that helps. Probably the biggest reassurance comes from the agreement published by the DOJ yesterday which says:
"The Agreement does not prohibit, and, in fact, expressly allows for, FTP to privde for, and facilitate, players outside of the United States to engage in playing online poker for real money through the Domain, or any other domain names, sub-domain names, websites, or Internet-based means of communication under the control of FTP."
It really is business as usual for players outside the US.
7. I still can't withdraw from ftp using moneybookers.
- It's true that cashouts are a bit slow right now (there is quite a backlog at the moment) but they're being worked through as quickly as possible. Moneybookers and Neteller are definitely where the biggest backlogs are right now. Sorry for the delay, but we will definitely get your money to you.
8. So for the days we were locked out as CDNS or had to figure out on our own how to update what happens this month if we miss Iron Man at no fault of our own?
- If you contact support they should be able to credit you with Iron Man days for the days you weren't able to update and play. That update issue should be fully solved, by the way.
9. the only thing that doesn't work is the FT academy which says under scheduled maintenance, when I click on it.
- This is still being worked on and should be up and running soon (probably very soon after fulltiltpoker.com has fully propogated).
10. Great news about your site entering an agreement with the SDNY to get our funds back so soon. However, when can expect our unused tourney tickets and/or tourney dollars to be converted to real cash? Also, some players like myself, have unearned bonus dollars in our account. Will they be converted to real cash as well?
- Unused tournament tickets and T$ will be converted before you fully withdraw. The exact process hasn't been set up or decided yet, so I can't give real details. I also don't know about unearned bonus dollars, but I will look into it.
11. You people put our money with your operational cash and left it in the US?
- No, that didn't happen. I can't comment too much about this stuff, but this isn't true. -
He's Alive! Thanks Doug.

What about those of us who cashed out some of our balance on Friday. It has been deducted from my account balance. Will i get that or does it have to be credited back and resubmitted?
-
Doug, I have some VERY important questions that apply to many people. These questions need to be addressed ASAP:
Edited By: Quartersack Apr 21st, 2011 at 04:51 PM
**edited to add question #3**
#1. Lots of players had "pending" cashouts before all this mess started last Friday. They went thru the cashout process as normal, money was deducted from their accounts but obviously they never saw the money (via check/wire transfer....whatever option they chose at the time). That money has yet to be credited back to the players balance on their cashier page. When will FTP credit these players back? Will FTP 100% assure players that in the case mentioned above, after the dust settles, players will be able to physically see this money back in their accounts?
The reason this is asked and its so important to so many people is because of the statement released yesterday from FTP:
"Full Tilt Poker has no accounting of the millions of dollars of player funds that were seized by the government; and the government has not agreed to permit any of the seized player funds to be returned to the players."
In case there is any confusion about what I'm asking, I will give an example: Player A goes to the cashier page and request a withdrawal of $5k via wire transfer on April 5th. The money is deducted from Player A's account immediately.....standard emails stating "transcation approved and processing" are sent. Due to processor problems at the time on April 5th, FTP is unable to facilitate this request, however, Player A's $5k remains in cyberspace and NOT in their account. Then the mess goes down on April 15th. Player A's $5k has still NOT been credited back to his/her account. Will FTP 100% assure Player A that he will see his money after accounting issues have been resolved?
#2. As you know, thousands of players played "backed" with money in their account that wasnt actually "their" money. Will FTP 100% assure its players that this money will be able to be transferred back to the "owner" of the money and the "owner" will be able to withdraw with no strings attached?
#3. Cashier --> History --> Past Transactions are not working. This information has been missing since Friday. I checked this morning before submitting the two questions above and at that time, it was 100% working. Now I, along with others, receive a message that states "The requested URL/transaction-history/ was not found on this server." This information, which I know is saved somewhere because I viewed it earlier today, is so very important to so many people. I understand it might not be availble to view at the current moment for one reason or another, but can FTP 100% assure its players that eventually this information WILL be available to view via cashier-->History-->Past Transactions path or via email correspondence?
Thanks for your help -

What happens to ring game tickets that still had value left on them? I know that if you don't use them for I think 7 days then they expire. I checked my account balance this morning and one is showing up as expired. -

I received a check from an FTP processor on 4/16. I called the bank it was written from and they said there are no funds available in that account. What should I do with this check to insure I eventually get this money back? Deposit it, let it bounce, then send this information to you? Please advise. -
Doug - not sure if FTP pays you enough but you are surely the best Customer Service rep. they have.
I have been waiting for a neteller cashout since last Friday..I get it there are million other things ftp has to deal with it at this moment however I dont get it why CS Rep would send me an email to confirm that my cashout was accelerated and I can expect it to be cleared within 12hrs to max 24hrs..surely enought the 24hrs have passed long time now and none of your colleagues I am writing to would make reference to the actual email in question..instead they are simply doing their standard copy paste answer and simply increase my frustration to the point I wouldnt want to deposit a single cent on ftp anymore.
It is important the ppl handling emails to go through the previous correspondence and give a competent answer so the customer at least feels treated correctly..I would then much rather understand and wait for my money for another week or two, however the way I am being handled right now I feel like the guy is simply showing me the symbolic middle finger while copy&pasting his thing and simply moving on to the next email...
I am in my 36th IronMan month and am taking a big risk to go back to 0 conseq months because I am surely not going to make another deposit to ftp as long as the money I have in limbo is not released, either to Neteller or back to my FTP account so that I can continue grinding there.
Asked FTP support to cancel my withdraw, which before black friday I could easily do on my own from cashier - the very next day I requested the withdraw and was told its no longer possible. -

I still cant select moneybookers to cash-out.. it tells me
Am i the only one, since FTPDoug says it works again...??We cannot process your transaction at this time. Please try again later.
Thanks. -
Doug i have been waiting 6 days for my neteller cashout everyone else has been recieving money.
Any chance i can get mine please :) Thanks -
You are american. Are you trying to be clever?
Yes UK players have recieved cashouts from FTP since black friday. -
Will US players be allowed to transfer money?
-
Guys, lets stop with asking the same questions over and over. I have addressed the "where is my money that was pending from two weeks ago" question as well as the "transfer" question. Lets give Doug some time to answer and not create a 3 page thread with the same questions worded different ways. If you have a question that hasnt already been asked, by all means fire away but the more cluttered this thread gets, the less efficient its going to be.
-
what kind of proof of address change do you need? is something like a utility bill sufficient or am i going to need to prove actual residency in another country?
-
What kind of proof are they wanting for an address change? Wonder if tilt is taking the same positions as pstars and not letting traveling us players play without showing a electric bill or some other proof of residence. Sounds like this could affect a lot of players traveling and the ones that left to canada and mexico quick.
-
Thanks for your post Doug,
quick question...I deposited 2 checks on saturday (day after black fri) from ftp. they went through and then came back out today from my account? is this money just lost or is there any way of salvaging this situation?...also what do I do with the last check I just received from FTP today? 2 questions, sorry! please respond when you have a min. thanks again for all of your time.

Doug,
I think alot of players would like to know about moving to canada.
I would like to know what kind of documentation you need to prove you have moved to Canada. I am planning on moving in the next month or 2 so that I can continue to play. Is an adress and bank account all I need? or will there be other documentation needed? Also you stated that ironman progress would be up to date if/when ftp comes back to the US. I would assume that this would be the case if we moved as well?
Lastly would ftp consider any kind of relocation bonus for those of us moving? It could work where we still have to clear the bonus with our play. I am sure this would be a tremendous help to us relocating, especially with us players potentially having a month or 2 where we are unable to earn any poker income. -
thanks for posting doug... please address our concerns about all recent withdrawals, though. i have 1 check in hand im sure is no good and 2 others i never received from the past 2 months. when/how will all of this get sorted out?
-
wow..now even the ftp acknowledgement automated reply emails are sent with a 12hrs+ delay..great improvement.

stars replied within 20 minutes with a lo.gical anwser from a human represenative, I guess its one of the reasons they still have 150k people playing there even at 3a.m euro time...
Doug I urge you to get this feedback to one of the managers in charge cause the ppl handling emails are worth nothing and increase customers frustrations -
Was there a point to posting a bunch of useless info then not answer any real questions? I feel real safe knowing tilt isn't responding to questions and the player numbers are plummeting. God I wish my roll was on stars right now.

FTP is still a good place to play if you are allowed to. Doug is just trying to give info that he can release. Yes, I wish he would post more, but posts like this will discourage any information from coming out. There is plenty of useful info for US and non-US players in his post. I know you are upset about what happened with the DOJ, but you are taking it out on the wrong people.
