FTP's changes in guarantee's

    Hey, just logged in to FTP there for the first time since Saturday and I've noticed that the $26 mtt's have their old prize pool guarantees back.I thought since the US shutdown that they had to cut them by like half?? Anyone know what is going on?

    All of the sites will re evaluate their guarantees.

    Obv FTP and stars will likely reduce all of them unless they feel that some of them will be met. I think all of the others will see if they are getting much more traffic and look at increasing. Whilst they may still be dismal (someone made a thread somewhere about a small site but what do you expect? 70k from a site that used to get 300 runner for a $50 freeze-out)?

    They can always increase them again (even after 1 week) if they meet/break/smash the new guarantee.

    By saying they will reduce them by a flat 50% is just stupid. They'll look at each one and see how much they need to trim to make sure there isn't too much/any overlay.

    Remember that overlays are good for players but bad for the sites. They may still be prepared to wear some overlay for a little while but only if those particular tournies keep getting closer and closer to nil overlay.

    It seemed to me like the $26 MTT's are some of their most popular, so they're probably still meeting or nearly meeting the guarantees. I'm sure we'll see more of the guarantees shift closer to the original figures as they get a better sense for their traffic levels.
