yawn at ftops anymore, but its pretty much what i expect from it, bring back older ftops ftp

also ftp, there shouldnt be more than maybe 2 super turbos total in your schedule
completely get rid of event #3 limit rush MET i mean is this event even real?
event 9 plo hi/lo Rush again is this real who plays this stuff
in general theres too much Rush and too many turbo/superturbo events
the good nlhe events all seem to be MET, which is a shame cuz it ruins those events for almost everybody

well theyre second best because they are cheap/stingy with the rewards system, they simply dont compete with stars in that arena which clearly attracts the most players, but thats a whole different topic

the survey ftp sent me a few days ago asked about all this kinda of stuff. i def added a lot to the few comment boxes given as well.

and i cant even afford ftops anymore, which also makes me wonder why they sent me the survey.

I absolutely hate it. Full tilt is gone from a great 1b site to stars' 1a, to a complete mess imo. theyre killing the game for the average donk which is where all reg's profit comes from. Sure, prizepools are enormous, but its not like people were begging for bigger prizepools. and sure, rush, multi entries, super turbos are fun little gimmicks, in MODERATION, but when you basically make every tournament one of these gimmicks, it gives players little option. I was excited for double guarantee week(another gimmick), until i log in to see that every tournament is a multi entry, which is completely misleading, and Im just not into playing a 24 dollar tourney on 6 bullets that will now take 12 hours instead of 8. So my only choices are really to play on one bullet, which if you have a serious edge is not the greatest idea, or not play at all. and I often find myself just not playing on ftp out of protest for all these gimmicks that I hate. Too many players care way too much about the money and not enough about the sustainability of their chosen profession. I've countlessly heard top online pros admit that what full tilt is doing is horrible for poker, but they all continue to play because they wanna get that money, and in the short term, what theyre doing is great for them and other good players.

All full tilt sees are lobby numbers, and prizepools being met/exceeded and think everything is going great, what other gimmicks can we force on the players?
I feel like in terms of giving back to the community, Stars is just a step ahead of the game, even if its just smoke and mirrors, a lot of their promotions seem to really reward the average player much more than ftp. when is the last time full tilt held an fpp tourney where the winner gets 6 figs and a car? whens the last time they had a 10 dollar tourney that guaranteed the winner 150,000?

FTP needs to get their heads out of their asses and stop thinking about their bottom line so much

they have turned poker into a circus. didnt play this week simply because they made every tourney i play a met, and they are already tough enough as is

I dont have much to say anymore. Its pointless. I did not want to play this week but I ended up giving in and it was the biggest mistake of my life. I just so tired physically and mentally. I don't want to complain about FTP any longer. I just won't be playing METs week or FTOPs that aren't regular NLHE (none of them). Enjoy em gl guys. agreed, seems like an unsustainable business/industry model, but the short term is all that full tilt can see imo, b/c anyday some 2 year blackout law might pass, and well.. gg

As for the PLO8 Rush. I play as many PLO8 tourneys and sngs that I can but I won't play that crap. One time I won something like 17 seats for the stupid thing and then didn't play it.

I also got the survey. I blasted them about all the gimmicks. They asked for one tourney that I would like to see on the schedule and I said a NLH with no gimmicks. I probably wouldn't even play it but I am sick of the gimmicks.

By the way. The HORSE Rush was the worst of all time. Thought it might be better because it was limit, but no. Don't want to play a particular game, just sit out and you would only get moved at the end of the hand instead of when you fold.

Having Rush and all these other gimmicks is a good thing. If people like it then let them play them. Just stop trying to shove it down our throats.

Majorly disagree with this statement I think its great that the plo8 is deep stacked,non turbo,non multi entry,and rush since it sets up for being able to see a ton of hands esp at full ring where some pots take 5 mins multi way. The other good thing is they actually got the starting time right on this event as well. Kudos to this event and looking forward to it.
