My check that bounced from Poker stars 2 weeks ago just had the funds put back in my Stars account, I guess that is a good first step.

Good to hear stabs. pokerstars will probably be the first to allow cashouts for US players from the rumor mill and some articles.

Full Tilt cheque bounced? Wow, that doesnt suprise me at all for some reason. Seems like another tactic to screw over honest customers. Is it time for every player who has been screwed FTP to join together and take legal action of our own?

The check was likely printed & sent before April 15th, and drawn against an account that was seized by the DOJ. Think about all the return fees FT is getting stuck with.

Deposited 2 checks for like 2k on Friday (black) and the following day. All went through but then...3 days later bounced and 60 bucks in charges. Sweet. Called my bank and they said one check bounced because of insufficient funds from origin and the other was frozen. Sweet. My suggestion is to keep all funds in the online accounts until they formally release the cash. I should have not attempted to cash these but I wanted to see if I could do it before everything got beyond messy. Too late obviously. Now the third check came in the other day and Im probably gonna us it to scoop some dog poo with (he's small). Bottom line is the checks are worth nothing right now and less than that being that you will get popped fees for trying at some banks.
oh and insult to injury...i emailed them and got nothing (standard)...three days later this:
Hi maseandlou,
As you have dropped below the minimum requirements for Black Card membership, you have entered your grace period, which gives you time to regain your full Black Card status. During this time, you still retain all the benefits of Black Card membership.
To keep your Black Card status, you'll need to regain a minimum rolling 100-day average of 500 Full Tilt Points within the next 44 days.
Please note that if you do not meet the minimum requirements for membership by the end of your grace period, you will lose your Black Card status.
For more information, please visit your personal Black Card page in the My Promotions section of the game Cashier. In addition, use our Black Card Status Widget to track your progress directly in the game lobby.
Best regards,
Team Full Tilt -
You're liable for the funds, the same as if you deposited it with your own bank. That's not to say they won't cash it, but they definitely pursue you for the money once it bounces.

I also requested a check from Full Tilt before it was shut down and yes you guessed it. The check BOUNCED! It was for $700. I have emailed them and tried to get ahold of people and no luck. So I guess I will just wait and see what happens I will continue to go to [bank name removed, read forum rules] and see if I can cash it. Hopefully soon funds will be available!
