    Doubt US players that got stuck with a roll on ftp are happy about this either, since it makes it less likely they will receive their money.

    I don't know why I stayed on Full Tilt (oh that's right, the SNGs are as soft as fuck now). Looks like I paid the price. 8 SNGs going ($36s & $60s) and a fair sum in my account...

    Sorry to hear Arthur, I did the opposite of you, but for similar reasons. The mixed cash games dried up, so moved alot offline and to stars. :( This sucks though, and hopefully we get more information about this soon. Its not sounding good though, I think its good game to whatever we have online.

    Yeah agree and I shouldn't moan because it's not my livelihood like a lot of the people on here. Just shits me though because I am quite fond of money!

    We knew the risks after black friday, that playing on any site that has not refunded its US base was more risky than play on stars/party, etc.

    Still sucks, even if it isn't life changing money, but hopefully you made more money and withdrew more than what is stuck on ftp for you now.

    What's even a bigger slap in the face is this happened to ftp before it happened to Absolute/UB

    yes wacky i actually withdrew most of my roll few days back...i guess maybe it will take couple of days to sort this mess out...and we all prolly get paid on the the chip position we held before the tourny paused...hope we can get ftp doug to let us know what is happening and how things will work out now !

    Yeah I keep 80% of my roll in an interest bearing account in Australia (and have done so for years) so it's all good (well except for the losing money bit!).

    I am thinking its going to be worse than that, but I guess it doesn't hurt to be optimistic either. GL getting your tourney funds to your account and more importantly people with large amounts online getting their money sent to them.

    Cant say i blame players for a little paranoia... i mean, who would really want to keep any sort of decent roll online at the moment.... i for one am thinking of cashing out a fairly decent sum.

    This will help stars more than it will hurt them. stars paid back its customers and shouldn't be in any violation of their gaming license. I know I will be playing alot more than I have been there myself.

    It will probably help the sites like betfair and party that haven't had US customers since 05 as well.

    Agree with you Wacky but I guess the general feeling of ppl that don't now the "hole picture" of the online poker will easily thing that it can happen anywere at anytime..

    I think the upsides will outweigh the downsides. It does give a black eye to online poker, but think this is good news for stars in the long run as most of FTP's current market share will probably wind up with PS.
