So it's likely that the money we had on ftp is gone. How likely is it? When will we have a clearer idea about it?

If ftp does come back up at any point, is it worth me trying to withdraw? Could money leave my ftp account and not make it to my bank account? Does it matter if it does get lost since I'm prob gonna lose it anyway? I feel so dumb right now.

If Jack B buys those shares from Ray Bitar, then gets ftp back in the US marked as describe by Scott M, then i would gladly go back to ftp. This looks like a one guy screwed up the corporation type thing, I hope so, I love rush poker. Jack B is a financial Genius, so that would be epic of he took controlling intrest in FTP.

If you asked me yesterday whether Jack Binnions buying Bitar's shares would have assured US customers getting paid, I would have fully agreed. Today is a different story, and who knows if he is still interested in light of what has happened today.

The timing of all this seems like too much of a coincidence. I mean, Binion was in fact in Ireland meeting with ft ppl, right? Or was that a bullshit, speculated story too. Idk. But if he really was there and really was gonna buy up a chunk of ft then this timing can't be a coincidence. I mean, The Alderney Gaming Commission had two and a half months to take this action against ft but instead they wait until the moment where ft apparently finds a buyer? Cmon.

Some possible thoughts?: just like Phil Ivey had his own motives to get away from ft, there is someone or something behind the scenes that doesn't want ft to move forward with a deal that would inject liquidity into the company and possibly lead to the stabilization of the company. Idk I'm just speculating obv. It could be a long time until we know what's really happening behind the curtains.

It is an interesting coincidence, but as you mentioned we can only speculate at this point. The speculated story was on good sources, so I tend to believe that some discussions were taking place.

wow. another instance of ftp probably withholding information from their players.

NO WAY he was just guessing (mods at 2+2 even unbanned him).

This is my take (pure SPECULATION):

1. 2+2 Poster has limited inside info at Tilt or AGC
2. AGC gave ftp some sort of June 29th deadline at which failure to meet the deadline would mean AGC would consider ftp in default of their obilgations to players.
3. Recent rumored activity in Ireland may have been last ditch effort at meeting the deadline
