Both FTP and stars have been paying customers that aren't in the US.
2. I know everyone in the US has been concerned with first getting their money off these sites.

But has there been any news or even speculation as to when, if ever, US players will be allowed to play on the sites?

Speculation has ranged from 1-2 years to never.

But llisten to the quadjacks interview with Chuck Bass, and Karkat's rant, it might change your veiws on FTP/PS. (I may have messed the names up, but it's close)

4. Chuck bass or chuck kidd?

Yes. I wouldnt worry about either of them.
7. I have sent an email to: blackcard@fulltiltpoker.com, support@fulltiltpoker.com, support@fulltiltpoker.co.uk, every day since Black Friday.

I am not asking for much. I was a Black Card and still am (technically), and have sent an email a day to support and BlackCard support.

I withdrew $500 from my account on the morning of Black Friday and all I have asked was to return it to my account.

I have also asked what is the procedure to change my address if I were to move out of the country.

No one has responded.

NONE. ZERO. NADA.

I have considered asking our Euro-players to organize a sit-out until some questions are answered. Or at least ONE email. I will post updates when I have the time.

Something is drastically wrong here, all players on FTP should be alarmed.

Thanks,
Joe

Everyone should find that interview. Very interesting stuff. Sounds like he knows what hd was talking about.
10. I have a few hundred $$$ worth of those milestone fpp stellar rewards at stars. I forgot to purchase them and now I'm wondering if I'll get screwed. I've heard that their working something out to pay us for our FPPs but I wonder if they are going to take into consideration the stellar rewards. Anyone else not purchase them and hear if we'll be compensated for the stellar rewards?

Internet Gambling
I have opposed efforts to legalize Internet gambling in the past because evidence suggests that it fosters problems unlike any other forms of gambling. Online players can gamble 24 hours a day from home; children can play without sufficient age verification; and betting with a credit card can undercut a player’s perception of the value of cash — leading to possible addiction and, in turn, bankruptcy, crime, and even suicide.
Efforts to carve out an exception for games like poker, which many believe is a game of skill, may be considered later this year. Until I have the chance to review them, I cannot make a judgment about their merits; but I will consider them carefully as long as they leave in place the broader proscriptions against online betting.

That was quite interesting to see on Kyl's issue list. I'm about to write an article about it for P5s as well, but it's definitely a good development for us. Most people have pointed to 2013 as to when we can expect a realistic push for legalized online poker in the US given that 2012 is an election year.

14. This is the response I received from one of my local representatives. Sounds encouraging ( sort of)

Thank you for contacting me to express support for H.R. 1174, the Internet Gambling Regulation, Consumer Protection, and Enforcement Act. I appreciate hearing from you on this important matter.

While I am not a cosponsor of H.R. 1174, I would be inclined to support the legislation should it come to the House floor for my consideration. As you may know, H.R. 1174 would allow Americans to play online by creating a framework where Internet gaming operators can apply for licenses from the Treasury Department and federally approved state commissions, while agreeing to be overseen by these agencies and commissions. By requiring licensees to use and leverage effective technology, H.R. 1174 would allow regulators to more accurately guard against cheating, underage gambling, and compulsive gambling.

In 2006, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) was enacted, which sought to stop Americans from gambling online by making it illegal for financial institutions to conduct transactions with Internet gaming websites. Although UIGEA was passed over four years ago, 70 million Americans are still gambling on the Internet in jurisdictions all around the world, many in places with weak or less than desirable regulatory environments that provide little or no certainty that Americans are playing on sites that are safe or legitimate.

As you know, the popularity of Internet gambling has skyrocketed as a result of the enthusiasm for websites that host no-limit Texas hold-em and other poker games. While these games are entertaining, there are growing concerns that Internet gambling can be addictive and that online companies do not have the resources necessary to prevent youth from participating. I am committed to supporting policies that protect our children and prohibit criminal use of the Internet. However, I do recognize that we must carefully weigh the consequences of policies that would infringe on the rights of adults.

Again, thank you for sharing your opinion and please do not hesitate to contact me again. I encourage you to sign up for my e-newsletter - the "Louise Line" - for periodic updates on my work on your behalf in Washington, by clicking here.

Sincerely,

15. UB and tilt say that I can't play or withdraw

Thought I read that the sites were being allowed to return money

Was I wrong or have I missed something somewhere else?
