Getting rake back with old accts possible?

    Everywhere i turn i keep finding out that people with accts they signed up for previously cannot receive rakeback. I was one of those fools who just automaticly created an acct on every site once i started playing online. My question is is there any hope for people in this predicament? I never understood why rakeback cannot be offered to previous users seems a bit elitest?? Anyone ever had any success getting an old acct raked give me some help PLEASE!! I obviously wont even try to create sub accts or accts with different names for obvious reasons.

    We have an FAQ posted about this at the top of this forum. It doesn't really have anything to do with elitism--it's simply that poker sites aren't generally the ones offering rakeback; rather you get it from an affiliate that you sign up through. Poker sites are only paying affiliates for new players they bring.
    We don't feel this system is fair to players, but it's the reality we're living in with online poker at this point, at least on most of the rooms.
