  1. Not really sure this belongs in poker sites thread or not but seems to be where all the other cashout related threads are. Basically thread title says it all we should get a bunch of players to file a class action suit against the fed attempting to get the UIGEA thrown out, as we are being harassed for participating in a legitimate profession. Just wondering if anyone thinks something like this is even feasible probably the PPA would be our best bet to get something like this done but im sure their litigation team has considered something like this before. Just wanted to bring it up for discussion see what you guys think...

I dont wanna speculate too much but many already have that the end may be near at least temporarily with all the recent processor difficulties as well as FTP appearing to be trying to milk as much rake as possible the next month or so(dub gar and FTOPs XX pushed up)...
  2. if a suit against the treasury made any sense the PPA would have pursued it.

Besides you couldn't sue the treasury anyway. It's a federal law, not a treasury law.

Put your weight behind the barney frank et al reintroduction of the legalisation bill that happened this week. stay positive and read the P Legislation foeum

  3. Fair enough, ya I def will keep up with the poker legislation forum. Definitely still positive was just trying to come up with anything we as players can do other than call/email our congressman.

edit: couldnt seem to find anything in poker leg forum about the bill introduced this week, anyone have a good link where I could read about it?

  4. try PPA website. I got an email from them this week so I expect they have info there.

edit: I posted the email and info in a new thread over in poker Community with appropriate title so more people see it.
