you can now give anybody the 'finger' when you type in 'fu' in the chat box, among other common phrases that initiate a pop-up of a lame symbol above your avatar.....evolution ftw!!!
Nice to know whats at the top of their priority list when they update the software! well done 888. -
LOL thats pretty funny but the site software is still poo
-
??? explain this?
software is still poo
i doubt you've played there lately. plus, 888poker PAYS OUT in less than a week. not like the other poker-ponzi schemes out there. -
their software has some glitches that have been ongoing since I joined the site around June.

To name a few:
1. Add-on glitch
If you happen to get moved to another table just before the add-on period, your SOL on your add-on.
Also, If you go broke just before the add-on period, your SOL on your rebuy before you add-on.
2. Paying the BB twice
In instances where the small blind is 'dead', the same person pays the BB 2 consecutive hands. This problem is intermittent.
3. Table balancing
Final 2 tables, 10 left, still reports of 6 players on one, and 4 on the other.
4. Lobby glitch
The lobby takes forever to refresh, but more importantly the info is incorrect. For example, a random screenname may appear with your stack size, while your actual screen name may be listed as 'finished'.
Also, in the info section in the chat box, when a player gets eliminated for instance, the 'low stack' will be listed as '1' chip, and the the number of 'players left' will generate correctly. This could cause confusion say, on a ITM bubble.
These are just a few, and not sure if the latest software has corrected these ongoing issues, but having said all this, IMO, 888 is still near the top as far as decent structured MTTs across a wide variety of buy-ins, especially for those of us who's games are suited to the smaller type field sizes.
And personally, after experimenting with some other euro sites, Im willing to live with these glitches, and I say that because a few of these other sites are simply 'atrocious' , and im being generous on that one.
OH, and FTR, payouts are quick! Less than a week, and money in hand :-} -
Thanks for the info, have only played cash on their network so was unaware of these issues. At least they have synced breaks ;)

wacky, I have dabbled a bit in the .50/1 level (jackpot tables) and I have have found the jackpot rake to be brutal, like .50c every hand regardless if your involved in the hand or not, and I dont mean .50c rake out of the pot, I mean from everyones stack, (ie: if they chose to be eligible for the jackpot). Have you noticed this, or do you stay clear away from those JP tables?
EDIT: just remembered, that I dont think you play NL holdem cash, just some other variants.
