  1. I only have a very basic idea on what "Rakeback" really is, here's how it goes:

You play a lot of cashgame on a site, thus get a lot of games going for said site and the site pays you back a certain amount of the rake you spent.

So what I'd like to know is...

1.) What EXACTLY is "Rakeback"? (Where am I wrong with my basic idea of what it is etc.)
2.) How do I get "Rakeback"?
3.) Does anyone with a reasonable amount of experience care to shed some light on whether it is recommendable to get "Rakeback"?

Thanks in advance to anyone helping out.
  2. Hey there,

    1) Your basic idea is basically right. Nowadays, players can get rakeback on both cash games and tournaments and for any amount of real money play (you don't have to play a lot to get it).

    2) See the sticky post right above this one about how to sign up. It's very simple right here on P5s!

    3) It makes a lot of sense to get it, as it's simply more money you get when you're playing that you otherwise would not get. There really is no catch.

Please let me know if we can answer anything else for you!
