I just wasted space on my hd w hero, downloaded software & set up acct fine, got to the important part where I tried to dep & got the same old bs message cuz of the apparently greatest country n the world. Not accepting US players at this time. It's prob for the better, everything available to us is bs anyway 1 way or another.

David Jung has stated multiple times that Hero has no intentions of re-entering the US market. Their stance is different than the rest of Merge. -
OK! Opened and deposited brand new account on PDC, got "New Depositor Freeroll" entry, $2.20 Sat ticket and (so called) 100% initial Bonus.
IMO, one of two things will occur now. US poker is back OR the crap is about to hit the fan, again.
Well, it's pretty obvious now but just got this email & thought I would share;
Dear Valued Player,
*
You asked that I let you know when BlackChip Poker were taking new US players. Im happy to report as of about one hour ago we are now taking new US signups. However, for reasons beyond our control, we are not able to take new players from the following states: Maryland, Washington, Missouri, Louisiana, New York, Washington DC and Kentucky.

So say multiple merge skins do indeed allow me to register with their site and deposit, would I be able to open an account on multiple skins and play them simultaneously? I'm under the impression that merge is just the network and all the skins operate completely separate from each other. Thoughts? Thanks in advance guys.
-
First, that would be cheating unless you played different games with each account, in which case, it would just be stupid

Second, no, only one skin is allowed to be open at a time. If you attempt to open a different skin, an error message occurs informing you the client is already open. -
Ok that makes sense I didn't realize that all the players from different skins played the same mtt schedule. Thanks for the response.

I live in Washington state and play on Carbon. I've had my account for a while though. Just in case anyone else is having trouble"

Just looked on the carbon website since i've never signed up there before and am looking for a merge site to get rakeback on... it says that click2pay works for US players?? Has any US players used this option through Carbon?
-
well, i went and dwnld'd it and everything was good until i went to reg for one of the freerolls and it asked for my info, then told me they are not accepting people from my country. looks like all you can do is play play money...sigh
i emailed support and asked them whats up. waiting on a reply now. -
Signed up for carbon, deposited and playing. Max deposit was only $100 but God it feels great to play on something other than bodog and actually put my second monitor back in use. Even if it only lasts a short while.

looking at google there are 3 diff ones, .ag/.net/.com, wich did you use? -
.com I believe. I downloaded the software thru P5s months ago, actually a day or two after they stopped taking US players. I just went through the shortcut for the software thats been on my desktop the whole time which never worked before and it let me all the way through this time.

Any thoughts on this? I'm just posting it because I'm trying to figure, whats the trigger here? Are we about to see ol poker back in US or just calm b4 storm?
http://www.faith-cn.net/latest-poker...m-closing.html
its probably just ol bs but I appreciate what people think and post on P5s.
And bty, yeah, ive said a lot of sht about merge, but I want to play 4 money, not points. -
Must just be a mistake; I've participated in conversations on the other forums in which he has said multiple times that Hero has no intentions of returning to the US market for the foreseeable future. -
David has stated he's not re-entering US market and he wants to focus on his players.
-
Merge's traffic has been up 15% since it re-opened to new US players. Here's some more info on that:
