1. Bovada just changed their website message (which they do on occassion) saying that payouts will take at least 20 business days (up from 15-20) which seems to be indicative of a slowdown that started with w/d's that were initiated aroung the last week of March. I know that people received their w/d's from 4/3 and prior on or aroung 5/7 (my first one was 4/2, received 5/7, check cleared no problem), but would be interested to hear if anyone received one this week, and when they initiated the withdrawal, since there appears to be apprixmately a 35 day calendar lag at present. If we can track w/ds received this week (and in coming weeks), we can get an idea as to whether the lag is worsening or improving.

2. nothing to worry about. probably just a standard US DOJ seizure of payment processor bank accounts.
3. Bovada Question:

I have not been playing online since late last year, but I would like to put some money on Bovada and try and win a WSOP package. If I actually win a seat, do you think there is any chance I would actually get to use it?

I tried searching this thread (and others), but did not see this addressed.

Thanks for any help.
4. I made a cashout on April 10, it was approved on April 12. Its been a month now and I still haven't received the check? Is this a normal time frame?

E-mail 1: 15 days, but delays due to Easter holiday (OK?)
E-mail 2: 20 days, be patient due to increase in the volume of payouts.

At least they respond quickly saying nothing is happening.

Still nothing.

6. It looks like none of the cashouts approved after 4/3 have been shipped. If anyone has received anything, plz post.
7. nm, some people have received cashouts approved on 4/6. (talkin bout bovada)

8. i had a cashout 4/6 and still nothing talked to bovada on the phone they said expect a trackin number by end of this week
9. So it appears that the lag, which was about 35 calendar days on Bovada, is gettting worse, not better. Keep us posted if you receive a check this week! (my most recent cashout was 4/23, so I will post when I receive, probably at the end of this month at least at this point)

10. Excuse my ignorance but do you mean you requested the payout thru Western Union or a direct deposit into your bank account? I am wondering if using Western Union will solve these problems like one of the posters suggested....
11. Sportsbook

Requested: 4/30
Processed: 5/10
Received Tracking Number : 5/14
Received: 5/15
12. I meant on Bovada not Sportsbook. I should have clarified.
13. 4/20 Requested on Bovada................

Crickets.

It is greatly appreciated that you took the time to write us with your concern. It is our pleasure to provide you with the information you require. Surely this email should clarify this matter.

The payout timeframe on the website is an estimate based on our current averages, starting from the first business day after being processed from your account. Individual timeframes can vary quite a bit depending on the time of year.

</SPAN>There has been an influx of payouts requested during and near the close of the March Madness season which is one of our busiest seasons considering we have lots of regular basketball bettors. The Kentucky Derby was also a recent event which has added to this influx. To address this, payout requests are being handled on a 'first come, first serve' basis, to ensure that customers receive their funds in the most timely manner possible. With this in mind we have increased the approximate timeframe to an estimated 20 business days.

Your $xxxx payout was approved on May 7, 2012. Today is the 7th business day since the payout has been processed; therefore it is still within the estimated timeframe. There is a possibility that you may receive your funds within the first week of June as the 20th business day will be June 5, 2012. However, please bear in mind that this time frame is an estimate and does not reflect the exact day on which you will receive your payment. We do understand that these delays may be frustrating and any inconveniences caused will be regretted. Nonetheless, we can assure you that we are working feverishly on having your payout sent as soon as possible. Once the tracking information is received we will post this information to your Bovada messages right away.

16. Bovada: Approved 4/25 still no check. Also is it best to cashout through the casino side on lock? I was emailed by lock saying that it was the fastest route. Thanks in advance.

17. I have some specific questions I need answered and would appreciate some feedback from someone who knows the answers. I know these forums can get off topic very fast, but I would prefer constructive informed responses if possible, thank you in advance

I am a U.S. player on Lock poker. My girlfriend is a player from Spain playing on Lock poker in the U.S. Lock poker staff have already informed me that it's ok for us to both play on the site with our different accounts so long as we are both verified and are clear about our situation upfront ( and I assume avoid playing at the same tables and other shakey situations) so there would be no accusation of collusion later on down the road. I see she can use moneybookers to deposit onto her account but for me I can only use credit card or Western Union. So here are my questions pertaining to this specific situation.

(1)How long would it take me to receive a request from Lock Poker for money withdrawal? seeing as I am a US player (I have heard reports of some waiting for 3 months for their checks and then praying that they even cash) and if I prefer that it not be in the form of a check, is that the only way they can send the withdrawal? Is it faster by Western Union, or Moneygram, and is it in the form of cash when received through those methods?

(2)Am I better off just transferring my funds to my girlfriend's account and having her withdraw through moneybookers since she is a Spanish citizen? Would Lock even allow this continuously? Is this illegal? How fast would this take compared to the MoneyGram, or Western Union method through my own US based account?

Side note: I am assuming there is no issue with her playing in the U.S. online but being from Spain, as I recently was staying in Maryland for a prolonged period of time and told by Americas Card Room that I could not playon their site because my ip address was showing up as Maryland, but when I explained I was a Florida resident with a Florida license they let me continue to play on the site while I was in the State of Maryland. I am assuming this a similar case with my girlfriend.

There is at least a 35 calendar day lag on Bovada payouts at this point, per the above posts, so don't expect your funds until the end of this month at the earliest.

Anyone out there actually RECEIVE a Bovada payout this week? Will help us to track the lag if you just let us know.

19. Just talked to bovada, They said they had to re issue my bank wire. So my wait time will be approx another 20 business days!!!! So frustrating, I made the withdrawal on March 30th!!!!!

I don't play on lock but I believe checks are taking around a month for merge. The lock rep on 2+2 said 2-3 weeks today I think. Transferring through your gf account would probably be quicker, but I have heard accounts get closed if they are only used to funnel money, so your gf might have to play some with the money before its cashed out for you to do this continuously. If she plays on a regular basis its probably cool.
27. So it looks like the Bovada lag may be up to 42 calendar days now! Anyone receive a check that they requested AFTER 4/6?

29. anybody use WU on bovada or is that not a smart thing to do? how long does w/d take for that?

edit: I was told by bovada if I use WU to deposit i would also be able to receive checks because i have received checks before. They say the fee for 2k WU is 150 and its there in 3 days is there a reason more people arent using this method?

Absolutely agree based on comments posted to this thread that WU is the best way to go during this lag period, though I beieive that it is unavailable to people who initially deposited via methods other than WU, such as mysefl
