CarbonPoker is very excited to announce that our CarbonPoker 6.0 software is launching this evening. In order to launch an incredible update such as this we will unfortunately be experiencing some downtime starting @ 02:00 server time on Tuesday, June 5th. We expect approximately 6 hours of downtime to get the new software launched. After the software has been launched, players attempting to login to the exisiting software will be prompted to update their software to the new 6.0 client.
What are some of the new features for 6.0?
Filters - The 6.0 client will now have two dedicated ways to filter the game list to your liking.
New Search Field - We will be implementing a new search field in the new 6.0 client that will allow players to search a number of new variables. Some of these new options include searching specific table names, tournaments and tournament ID's, player nicknames, player tags and even player notes you have created.
Game List Expanders - 6.0 will now offer players the ability their game selection from the game list.
Timezones - The new 6.0 software will give players the ability to set their local timezone as appose to using the client server time.
Table Stats - 6.0 will now feature a dedicated window just for table stats.
New Tournament Lobby - A detailed tournament lobby page will be available for every tournament in the client with new 6.0 software.
Tiling & Cascading Tables - Both view modes will be available for laying out your multiple tables.
Custom Player Boxes - 6.0 will give you the ability to fully customize the display of any player box at the table.
Table Resizing - With this new feature you will have full control over the scaling of important information by either increasing or decreasing the table size.

Any idea when it will be finished? It originally said 40min ago but i came on then and it said 30min and now it says 30min again. Is there a timeframe?

If it does that, then send me an email to marketing@heropoker.com and I'll sort that out, but there will be some unresolved issues, but while I've tested the beta, I am also curious to see how much development was finally done. The upgrade is taking longer than expected, while they are finishing up, it still may be some time still as the count down estimate keeps resetting.Originally Posted by wickedfamous

Is there an option anywhere to disable blackjack/casino? or do i need to mail in. If not that would be a nice feature if i could disable it and there was a cool-off of say 24hrs if you opted to re-open it.

It's probably skin specific. Blackjack/casino games aren't even offered on the skin I play on (Hero). I'd email support at your skin and ask.Originally Posted by MikeClarke

I had to ask BCP to restrict me from the entire casino via email lol, they politely did within a few hours. Not sure about a cool off period, but I wouldn't be surprised if they'd do that for ya.Originally Posted by MikeClarke

Thanks just figuring if I'm going to make merge my new home the last thing I want is to build a roll and blow it on Roulette like i've done with several paychecks during drinking session. For some reason putting £100 on green seems like a great idea after a few to many jack daniels lol
Will wait til the servers are back up before i hassle them with a request. Bit unfortunate its takingso long though i'm busy in 3hrs and was hoping to have time for a small tourny :( -
I guess there's always the next update to fix the rebuy/add-on issue. As well as table changes causing a few hands to be played heads up or three way instead of full ring. Oh and the not being able to see the blinds when moved to a new table. Those are the three things that tilt me most and still aren't fixed. Sigh.
