Has anyone withdrawn and gotten their money relatively fast? It took them over 3 months to get me my money last time so I'm hesitant to re-deposit now that the big 3 aren't taking US players. I'm hoping maybe they are speeding up their withdrawal process now but I need some feedback...or if bodog's withdrawal options are better? Thanks people

I'm having such a rough time just to make a simple deposit on these sites!(carbon poker)I wish it was easlier to do.

I deposited with Western Union and Visa on Hero and Players Only respectively. Both deposits were quite easy.

I plan on withdrawing from PO today and may do a test withdraw on Hero just to see how it goes. I'll let you know what happens. -
Piece of cake with Visa on Players Only. Dont waste you time with Doyle's room if you play MTT's. Nobody is there.
-
i just had a cashout processed to usemywallet on players only, i made the request saturday night and they sent a confirmation email today and the funds were instantly available on my ewallet
-
I think ive never seen a site with worst cashout policys.. I recently signed up for usemywallet because they told me
"Takes 10 business days to process) Than expect it in 2-3 weeks" So ur looking at a month and a half.. The fees for usemywallet sucks, but hey you will save a month. Fuck i miss stars, god damn doj -
I've been on the lookout for the last couple weeks for people who have had a successful w/d from Carbon poker and thus far no one has reported a successful cashout (that I've seen on P5s). I've heard of people still pending the identification and verification process but not having received their funds yet. I'm ready to deposit there but I won't until people start reporting successful w/ds post April 15th.
Also, how the fuck has usemywallet not been the target of a DoJ investigation? What they do is far more egregious in terms of transferring funds to and from actual online casinos, which, if I'm not mistaken, is the actual language of the UIGEA. Yet somehow sites dedicated to poker only came under attack. Fucking baffling.
If your Visa won't work then use Western Union. You can do it online here and apparently it's pretty quick. Looks like if you deposit $300 they will charge you about a $25 fee but Carbon will give you an instant 10% bonus up up to $30. So if you send $300 it will cost you ~$325 but you'll wind up w $330 in your account.Originally Posted by gemi9

How much rake do you need to contribute to earn the entire $2k bonus and how long does it stay open for?
-
I'm clearing $5 per $15 of tournament rake on Hero with a 3 month expiration (on a 100% deposit bonus). Haven't played cash on Hero yet, so I'm not sure what the clearance rate is.

Carbon thought i would sign up to try them out, played a bit, won a bit, lost a bit - i have a $200 neteller withdrawal pending from april 23rd still not processed. very unsatisfied with them. emailed support twice asking what's happening, fast response, but no answers, just "experiencing delays"... does not instill confidence at all. recommend to avoid.
-
I'm actually surprised their email support was quick to respond to you cuz I've been waiting on support emails for over a week now with some questions I had. Turns out their live help is actually really good/fast tho (at least my experience was).

Indeed they are likely experiencing delays at this point given the fact their volume has substantially increased. I would be patient with them for prbly another few weeks to see if they get their shit together before passing judgment on whether or not to avoid them.
Also, you live in NZ, why the hell would you be playing on Carbon when you have access to the best/largest poker site in the world? -
Support has been great thus far , issued a tester 500.00 cashout today...goes into usemywallet ..I will let you all know if and when it clears . Talked to support and they said within 72 hours , and usually way faster than that but they do have alot of traffic.

used quicktender two days ago and was approved. 35 dollar fee, ouch! Is it considered a wire? Cuz my bank will charge 15 for that too :(
-
It took me two weeks to get my account verified, and now i am waiting on a withdrawal into quicktender since friday. This is the response i got today from support.

I am afraid we rely on our Network Cashier to process withdrawals for us. We have already asked that they process your request ASAP. We will just have to wait until we hear back from them.
Thank you for your patience.

Rizen, a rep on 2+2, had the follow response to that email:
There is no reason to worry about the safety of the funds if that's what you're asking. For withdrawals there are two layers that need to happen. the first is on our (Lock's end) and the second is on the network's end. This is what they're referring to. Right now there is a backlog of requests at the network end. I've actually been in contact today and there is movement, but there is still a significant backlog they're working through as well.
I'm not trying to assign or defer blame up the chain. I know players don't care about the network vs skin layers and how it all works or one pointing the finger at the other, they just want their requests processed. I'm only explaining this so the wording on the e-mail makes sense.
Right now you've been waiting since last Friday (4 days) for the withdrawal and UMW withdrawals have been taking about a week historically since Apr 15th. I realize that you've been waiting longer if you count the verification of documents. Unfortunately there are two separate teams on the network level than handle those and it's treated as two separate requests. I would really recommend anyone that hasn't sent in the necessary verification documents for withdrawal who plans on withdrawing soon do so ahead of time as it will definitely speed things up.
If you'd like you can PM me and I can follow up individually on your request.

Just writing this to keep people like myself up to date. -
This is exactly what I am doing. I uploaded the identification verification documents a couple days ago and I'm waiting for them to complete that process. Then, once people start reporting quick and easy withdrawals (I'm eager to learn about checks from Carbon), I'll finally feel comfortable enough to deposit on that site and play.

Glad you posted this. It def helps shed some light in terms of understanding the details of the backlog. At this point the ball is in Merge's court to get busy and hire more people if they have to and get things running smoothly. I feel like it's a bad sign if they're still "backlogging" in a month.
Also, I noticed in that email from support it said "we rely on our Network Cashier to process withdrawals for us." This would indicate to me that all the skins on Merge rely on one cashier. True? I thought I read some thread on here recently where someone was saying that each skin has it's own support and cashier?

I was trying to deposit on carbon poker using the visa option.I was asked to get a gift card that can be used internationally to make a successful deposit. Is there any easy way to deposit?
Are these verification documents required only for withdrawing the money or do we need to do even for the deposit?
Is there anyone who successfully completed withdrawals from carbon poker? -
Idk if this is an "easy" way in your eyes but it's prbly a sure thing. You can use the "Cash Transfer" deposit option. You submit the deposit and then they come back with details for you to go to a Western Union office and send the funds. You can also go to the Western Union site and send the funds online via Western Union. It will cost a little more to do it online but it's easier than going to the store.
Also note that Carbon will give you an instant 10% deposit bonus if you use the Cash Transfer method to deposit. This 10% bonus is limited to $30.00 total. So the maximum bonus you can receive would be $30.00 on a $300.00 deposit. This should more than offset the Western Union fee even if you do it online.
I believe they are required only if you are withdrawing.Originally Posted by cardracker aaa

I submitted the verification documents late night on Sunday the 1st and a couple hours ago today (afternoon of Wed the 4th) I received an email indicating they had received my documents and verified my account. I have heard of some people reporting the verification process taking as long as two weeks so the fact they got my account verified in less than 72 hours may indicate they are starting to get their backlog cleared.
Yes a couple people have reported successful withdrawals post-April 15th to their UseMyWallet account. I have not yet heard a word about check withdrawals from Carbon but hope people will start reporting on them soon. -
Hi Adam,
Thanks for the reply. It was helpful.Should i have some kind of invitation to open a new UseMyWallet account?I think check withdrawals in carbon poker charge $15 for each time. -
I GOT PAID. 5500 Via quicktender. Let this put to rest any worry anyone has about getting paid! I high recommend PM'ing Rizen on 2+2, it seemed that as soon as i did that the very next time he sped things up and got it processed for me. Thanks!

I do not personally have a UseMyWallet account but people have been reporting there is a $35.00 fee to use UMW.

Also you have to have an invitation from the site to open a UMW account, you can't just open one on your own. I have heard that you have to have at least one successful deposit to receive the UMW invitation. They may also want you to have completed the account verification process before they will extend you the UMW invitation. -
I used Lock and it was simple to deposit using my CC. I went to their casino and dposited through that, then u can simply transfer from the casino to poker. There was nowhere to put a deposit bonus code, so I emailed support and they added whichever bonus I wanted to use. At first I wanted the 200%, and they gave that to me. Then I saw the IPad 2 promo and asked if they could change it to that and link me to P5s. They did it no problem and even said that on my next deposit I can get the 200% after the Ipad2 bonus clears. FYI I did get a 3% international fee from my bank but I think thats the norm now.

Also about cashouts: I haven't tried since black friday but when I played on merge a year ago or so I do remember the cashout process being dragged out -
Just wondering if anyone is having the same problem I am ??? Opened a carbon account last week deposited with a netspend reloadable visa debit card, then was invited to use use my wallet. Now i want to cash out carbon has sent my money to the use my wallet(quick tender) and i input all the bank info: account number and routing. Now i received the error message that my bank will not accept international bank wires.. Anyone else have this problem with netspend and if so what visa debit card can you use that has banking info that accepts international bank wires. Thanks in advance if anyone can help
-
There are already two threads in PS regarding deposit/withdrawal issues on Merge and Bodog.
To answer your question tho the problem is on your bank's end. You most likely have a personal checking account at a bank where you can not receive int'l wire xfers. The solution would likely be to open up an account at a bank where you can receive those. -
Yea the thing is i dont wanna use a regular checking account. i know you can use some visa pre paid cards that come with bank account numbers and routing numbers. i waas wondering if anyone knew any card that has that or is it just better to get a check
-
I mean, I must be completely in the dark or something cuz I didn't think one could receive an international bank wire directly onto a Visa card ha. I'd love to hear more about such a thing tho.
-
Well, before black friday, I had successfully used my NetSpend mastercard's banking and routing numbers (given to you for direct depositing onto the card) to withdraw from both Absolute Poker and PokerStar directly onto my card via Wire Transfer
