    I am thinking of depositing on Lock Poker for the Merge Poker Maximus (although very sketched out with everything that went down on Black Friday). I have a few questions that I hope you guys can answer. Is there rake back, if so how do they distribute those funds? Have there payouts really been improved, and if so what is the new recent timelines for recieving checks or bank wires? Also, is Lock the best skin for the Merge Network if I only play poker?

    What does 67 (welp 68) posts have to do with being uptight? Hell yeah Im angry and a little nervous about putting money on Merge after I lost 75% of my net worth from Black Friday and my job. Not to mention I was on a 20K downswing before the shit hit the fan. I just want to hear good things about the network. Bovado's software is straight garbage so the only other option is Merge. I just want to know if their cash outs take less than a month and half now a days. Is there rakeback? Carbon or Lock skin better?

    Hero, RPM, Black Chip, Carbon and Lock are the best 5. Need to look at each and decide which is best for you. There's no rakeback and each has its own VIP/reward system. Cashouts depend on the skin. Some have wires. Some are faster than others afaik. There are also people cashing others out through the player 2 player transfer thread at between .90 and .95 on the dollar. As can be expected, any play on a us facing site at this time carries some risk, how much is uncertain.

    Which skins offer player to player transfers and where can I find this player 2 player transfer thread? It used to be locked on top but I do not see it anymore. I will look into the different vip/rewards systems and cashout options. I appreciate the advice tyson!

    Not really. Players have been asking for months and Merge said in Nov/Dec they were working on something for early this year. If it was a cash grab, pretty sure they wouldn't have a bunch of 1rs, 3rs and 5cs that generate next to no rake.

    So torn on playing these. I played on Merge a lot pre-BF, withdrew 99% of my $ on there then thinking it was most at risk (bad read obv). As people are mentioning in this thread, its concerning that they do a tourney series now. My question is, for people who have been playing at Merge both before and after BF...

    1) Has cashout speed/success rate changed at all?
    2) Is it worth depositing to play these tourneys or would this be an unnecessary risk to a non-US player?

    Cashouts have been up and down since black friday. The Lock skin recently introduced some new methods and has shown quicker times for US cashouts, but then even more recently (the last few days), apparently one of these methods was suspended and now there are some rumblings about bounced checks. It's all very unpredictable from week to week and frankly if I were in the UK Id stick with other sites. That said, if you wanted to put some money on just to take some shots in this series, I dont think it would be totally bad. Just know that there is an elevated risk of keeping money on a site like Merge.

    How many people that normally don't play on the Merge Network will be playing in the series starting tomorrow:??

    just wondering if these prize pools are going to get crushed and if people outside of the US are excited about this series too
