MGR on UB

    Just curious how this is figured out. My MGR this month (and other months) have cents in the amount of MGR I have, but I do not play cash games on UB only mtts which have whole dollar amounts for rake? Also thought using points on UB did not affect rakeback.

    Hi Mark,

    You're correct about points. I looked into your account, and it's pretty bizarre that there are cents in your MGR if you're never playing cash or tourneys with non-even amounts of rake. I've got a guy there looking into it, and I'll have an answer up as soon as he gets back to me. I'm about to hop on a plane, so it'll likely be tomorrow when I get back.

    i also read on 2+2 that if you deposit with a credit card or withdrawal a certain way, you're MGR is reduced...is there any truth to this?? and is there any program you recommend so we can keep track of our MGR ourselves?

    Yes, it's true, though only about deposits in the case of UB. About 10% of any deposit is typically charged against MGR on UB or AP, so about 3% against rakeback.

    Mark, FYI our guy there is still looking into this. It's apparently a pretty weird issue, and he's gone to the tech side. We will have an answer for you though.

    Hey Mark, I'm bugging them about this again right now actually... FWIW, the guy I work with on this stuff is extremely responsible and with it....I have a feeling this is a bit of a complicated thing he's looking into, but I am going to stay on him and make sure we know what's up ASAP.
