Hi, I'm new to this forum. Ive been using it for articles but have never posted much , I primarily use the forums on my training site. Anyways, I need some words of wisdom. I was playing an 18 man sng with 3 players left. I was the big stack with a medium stack and a super short stack. I was taught to treat every pay jump as a new bubble in these because of the payout structure being linear 4th gets 11.50 3rd gets 23, 2nd gets 34.50 and 1st gets 46. So with the super short stack I would fold my small blind to him in order to keep the 3rd place bubble alive, because the medium stack was folding every blind to me. Here are some hands.

This player was getting really mad saying how he was going to report me. Anyways he did report me and my account was frozen, Im panicking now because I do not want to have my account frozen permanently. Are pokerstars good with these types of situations. They emailed me and asked my thought processes on these hands as well as my relationship with the small stack. (I have no relationship with this player whatsoever). Some words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -
That looks pretty suspicious lol.. As far as the ICM bubble stuff you're talking about, ur right until the shortie gets super short like what you posted. If you were shoving over the middle stack every hand it's reasonable. I don't know how pokerstars handles it but if you're on the up and up you should be fine I'd think. I've never had accts locked but have been reported on several sites for that type of offensive ICM play. Randoms get pissed lol. Id wait for more input if I were you, but my guess is that if you're telling the truth just explain ur strategy logically to them.

normally I would stop when the shortie got super short, but the med stack at the time actually just blinded away to me , maybe I got carried away with that strategy but hey I'm still learning. They will take what I had to say into account wont they? they sent me an email a day ago but I never responded and my account had just been frozen an hour ago, they may have done it to get me to reply to the email they sent. This just sucks a lot, I know it looks suspicious but it seemed like the right way to play it at the time and it worked perfectly so I was happy about it. And I have no relationship with the either of these players at all, maybe I've played sngs with them before if they're regs but I don't recognize the names. You think it will all work out though? I guess the fact that they emailed me asking for my opinion is a good start.

I even sent this to them in my response ahahttp://www.sitandgoplanet.com/sitandgo/sng_bubble/Keep_That_Bubble_Alive.html
the example is almost identical -
It was such a shock to me too, I just finished a session, went to bed, woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep, got on my computer and bam! account frozen haha probably could go avoided the freeze if I checked my email earlier, but what can you do, I have 1000 in my account which is a fair amount of money to me. I just hope pokerstars understands my strategy here, even if I implemented the strategy wrong, I still had a reason for doing what I did.

I like the strategy tightens the medium stacks shoving range up completely which will make it easier to ship, just gotta explain it im sure you will be fine. makes sense to me.

You def took it to the extreme folding 2nd and 3rd hand lol, but obv once you knocked one out its pretty much game over.
