  1. You guys would like that, but do you really think the greediest country in the world won't get back in the game. US govt just wanted the whole pie, not a little piece. With the size of the US player pool & the way our govt works they'll figure how to juice all of you.

LOL your post sounds a bit intense. Doesn't really matter whether it will take 1,2 or 10 years.many who are playing for a living relocated anyway & PS aren't complaining with 150k + players online. You can only blame your own govt for denying you right to play online.

I am not saying that its safe to play on rake based sites that accept US customers, but to blame US players themselves for you losing money is a stretch. There were plenty of other sites to choose from besides UB/AP/FTP that didn't accept US customers that you could have played on if you thought it had to do with US players rather than the risk that these sites were just underfunded.

I never blamed US players, i simply said i wouldnt trust a site that allows them to play at the moment, and why should i when the site could get closed because of it? does anyone here really know if merge keeps players funds separate? its my money and i dont want to risk losing it to another site. My mistake was forgetting how touchy and sensitive americans are. they have this attitude that the whole world is out to get them.

when US players can play again id say it will be the same as Italy for them, with a US only stars. i doubt we will see them again on any world sites. Until then they will just have to stay sharp on the play tables

if i can play on a site that lets yous deposit money illegally then it is my business, and i want to know what site it is so i can stay away from them and not lose more when they get caught by the FBI too.

Enough people have been fucked over US players so please explain how my concern shows a lack of intelligence?

You blamed US players in the first quoted post unless I misinterpretted.

I do agree that I find it hard to believe with the slow cashouts that Merge as a whole (maybe some skins like Hero do), Cake, or the smaller rake based sites that allow US players are keeping players funds seperate.

Bovada seems to have quicker cashouts, so maybe they are keeping the balances seperate. However, there are plenty of other reasons after their last update for Bovada to ever be a place for me to play. If I was still living in the US I would rather play nowhere than a site that thinks anonymous tables is a good idea and that they can police all collusion and cheating without any help of the poker community.

If I was still in the US, David Jung has said in the past that Hero Poker keeps all their player funds seperate. He has always been straight foward in all my dealings with him, and if Hero didn't go back to accepting US customers I would still be playing there even living outside the US. Its about the only site or skin I think I would personally trust if I was living in the US, so probably would just give poker a break until its regulated either intrastate or nationally other than the possible exception of Hero. These are just my opinions though and I don't blame anyone for playing anywhere, especially if they have calculated the risks with their own money and still want to go for it.

Im sure bodog are stoping US players soon, so it will just be merge

My first post, and im not blaming anyone, simply saying sites that allow US players are high risk, which they are. It was full tilt that fucked up, not us players, but like i said, americans are ultra sensitive and you cant say a thing without them getting offended these days

They can't get their software to stop lagging (along with many other problems of the most basic nature), they basically stated THEY DO NOT want winning poker players at their site (famously called predators by Oldman), and they have very little player volume in the poker rooms (especially after the recent mass exodus). But yet, they have a highly "specialized" team of security experts working non-stop to prevent cheating. How did he/she say it again? Oh right, "purely focused". As if they have a team of high tech geniuses on salary just "purely focusing" on the 7 games they have running at any given time.

Considering they can't even answer the most basic questions via e-mail (if they bother responding at all), I nominate this Bovada response as an early contender for the most ridiculous and asinine statement of the year.
