  1. Has anyone been watching this from the start? I just got home and logged on but I was wondering if he has mentioned Online Poker.

  2. Nope it's pretty much the same shit you see all the time. By Facebook townhall I think they mean questions asked by Facebook employees, because that is where the questions are coming from. Mark is asking questions with a laptop on front of him so maybe they are coming for Facebook users.

  3. not yet...hope he at least addresses it somehow instead of just ignoring it

  4. yeah, from what I saw, most of the questions on the event wall were about online poker and marijuana lol.

  5. Right, most of the lead-in questions posted on Facebook were either about pot or poker. It's been going on for about an hour now and I haven't seen anywhere that Obama has talked about our industry.

  6. they said this is the last question so they are going to ignore the most asked questions

  7. yeah nothing about poker or weed, which were asked about the most...majority of the questions were from facebook employees
  8. ridiculous how it wasn't questions from the fb users, we all wanted to know about the recent developments in online poker. instead they asked questions to the crowd that was there...lol
  9. booooring. and sickening too a little bit. Bring in more H1B's he says cause we are too dumb too work.

  10. It's actually just a little bit surprising that online poker wasn't talked about given the sheer volume of posts about it on the Facebook page for the town hall meeting.

  11. not surprised at all

  12. I'm sure the topics were discussed ahead of time meaning Obama didn't want to address it...no other reason for Facebook to not address the issue. Facebook wants to satisfy it's users.
  13. scripted

  14. Very Disappointing.

  15. not surprising at all. obama likely knows very little about the situation. i'm sure he told them what he was going to talk about.

  16. it was rehearsed and the questions and responses were canned. it was the same stuff he has addressed before and the news talks about constantly. i do believe they looked at the event's wall though.

at about 1:35 EST the entire facebook event locked up and it was phasing in and out of existence for about 15 minutes. no posting or anything was allowed. it was like they were downloading all the info on the wall and analyizing it so that for the next 2.5 hours they could pick out and research the questions and rehearse proper answers. aaaaaaawesome...
  17. yeah, its pretty fuckin disturbing that they can call this a town hall format when the most popular topics don't even get mentioned.

    [x] Typical Obama campaign stop.

Didn't watch, couldn't stomach it once I saw on his page "Shared responsibility, Shared prosperity". How many times did he use the words "Hope" and "Change"?
