  1. Are there any "Official Poker stars Reps" on P5?

Anyone that can answer players questions?

I am, like probably 99%of the poker community, very PRO STARS. I'm really looking to find out if they are still in talks with the US Dept. of Jackasses and if they feel they have any shot of re-entering the US market.

I know I personally see how they could....so I'm sure they have thought of a few ways. I also know that if Poker Stars were to ask me to send a letter to a certain US Dept that they were in talks with I would do so. If 80-90% of US players sent the letter it may help their cause (prolly not but still).

The fact is the US Laws, that were/are confusing at best help cause the mess that boiled over on BF. As it turns out the DOJ had some well founded reasons (I hate saying that) as evidenced by FT and AP. But......Stars deserves credit for the way they handled everything. No hesitation, no excuses, its your money here ya go!

I got my checks so fast I thought it was Christmas.

Got off track.....I just would like to know if Stars is doing anything to keep their foot in the door.

  2. There is more than 1 that occasionally posts on P5s, but I don't know if they will respond to this thread. I doubt that this will go into further discussion until there is legislation, however. Would be interesting now that there are green lights for states to create intra-state poker sites to see a Pokerstars.NJ or Pokerstars.NV though.

Spain, Denmark, and Estonia got it right. They forced Stars to open up sites and pay licensing fees, but those sites are linked to the main Pokerstars.com client so they still can play against players around the world.
