    dont know anything about it

    but if its like any other party promotion (which are pretty much the same everytym) then you play, collect points, after you collect enough you get a prize which ranges from points, small amounts of $ and freeroll tickets

    It was on the front page of p5's yesterday when i loaded it up

    think its basically regions in the UK v each other, whoever gets the most points wins a package to a WPT worth like 8k or something from what i remember.

    Edit : i found somewhere to book childrens partys at the Olympiad centre while googling it.

    The Olympiad is open to all U.K. PocketFivers and has a grand prize of a $7,500 WPT Paris entry plus $1,000 to use for travel and other incidentals. In addition, the person who qualifies for WPT Paris will give 20% of his winnings away in a National Pride Freeroll for everyone from that country who participated. The Olympiad starts on Sunday, July 15!

    That's great but I am a Welshman... I have been listed under England because I live in London. Is there anyway to change this or not?

    We are requiring everyone to be listed where they currently reside. Good luck!

    Also to be clear to all, this is a P5s specific promo. Anyone in the UK can participate but they must opt in with their p5s account!

    There are only 35 people signed up for the UK Olympiad right now. Remember, the winner gets a $7,500 WPT Paris entry plus $1,000 for travel and expenses, so there's a ton of value to be had.

    In case you missed it, the Olympiad leaderboards are all updated, with the current leaders given for each country. If you still want to play, there's plenty of time left, and you're vying for a trip to WPT Paris! Registration, which is free, closes on July 31.     You need to have a UK country listed in your profile in order to participate in the Olympiad and actually be playing poker from that country actively.
