    Will it be possible for me to retrieve the money in my pokerstars account? Should I request a paper check, echeck, or should I wait until things calm down??

    you wont be allowed to cash it out. even if you could, the check would bounce because their bank accounts have been seized

    I have a few checks that I just received from DHL. If I try to cash these checks will they go through or will they bounce? Thanks in advance for any response.

    bad news guys your checks will not clear, i cashed out and deposited a check on april 7th, today/last night the funds were pulled from my checking account as being returned. i called my bank and they said normally they have info on why but they had no information for me. a member of the accounting team is supposed to call me, but pretty much feel like i am screwed.

    i sent pokerstars an email this morning, i expect a response by november, if i hear i will post the response.

    I tried cashing out last night obv not best idea. I logged in today though and its back in my acct. This is on FTP. Had to go through eu site though to download latest update fwiw

    regarding my last post this was on pokerstars, i have a <$100 in my fulltilt account and dont really play there... im much more worried about my ps cashout returned check than having $ left in PS and FT accounts...

    all of your money is frozen. if your in the states or not, im not sure if this pertains to you, but.... they shut down the payment processors, and the bank accounts associated with them. yeah, you still have the money there. will you be able to get to it... yes, but will it be today. no. will it be a week from now, who knows? will it be a month from now? who knows. i doubt i would try to cash a check from stars or FTP. its just not going to work... sorry.

    Not sure if this is true. USA funds may be frozen but those were used to service the USA market. Worldwide it's prob biz as usual. I mean they are letting them play cash right?

    Thanks for all of your responses. I requested a bank wire transfer from pokerstars instead of a check. They immediately emailed me a credit transaction number. I will believe it when I see the money in my account in 8-10 business days. I will keep my fingers crossed.

    lol, let's punt our monies off to a payment processor (wp). My guess is it's safer on stars/ftp atm. All the processor's you would be using are seized/confiscated/raped/pwned/ etc etc. I say they should take everyone's loots and spew it off launching 700k a pop missiles into Libya.

    So you're saying the check initially cleared, you got the money, then money was returned to your pokerstars account? Or the money is just completely gone, vanished? If this is the case, a lot of people are going to wake up tomorrow with their bank accounts drained! Myself included. What about all the successful deposits poker players made? Will they be returned to us or are we completely fucked at this point?

    Im saying i cashed out about april 1st, deposited the check april 8th, (money was removed from my stars account) ion april 15th or 16th the check was returned, yanking the money out of my bank account. yes this put me in a huge bind now. i sent pokerstars an email yesterday and am waiting on a response.
