    Most of the players are sitting out and not being able to take their seats atm. EXCEPT for a lucky few. One guy at my table has almost doubled up stealing all the blinds from the other 8, including me. Im seeing my table, but i cant take my seat. TILT!

    EDIT: Tried restarting, and now i cant login.

    EDIT 2: And there the french pokerstars went down.

    happened in my new tourn that just opened. everyones out.

    also been sat out in 1 of the other 5 i have running

    Also i am unable to unregister the rest of my session

    same here....tried to reg. for a tourney...wouldn't allow me. Logged out to see if that would fix it, now I can't get back in and I have a couple games already going.

    yeah some folk are able to just take all chips off the table by not being dc'd. I had a mate rail moorman1 one time when this happened and he was able to take all the chips and by the time tourneys were paused he got to keep the massive stack he'd accumulated and took down 15k. Seems poor from the site but nice if you can get it.

    Yep, same here... My guess would be a DDoS attack... Even the Homepage has a dead slow performance...

    I just rang their head office and the receptionist told me they know and are working on it.

    My tourny's all froze when they reached the break.

    Anyone know what happens in these situations? I've never know stars to crash.

    I have the Head office # if anyone wants it.... might be nice if they told us something.

    Again: DDoS attack could be the cause of this... By now they seem to have taken down their database server. I wrote a quick mail to their support, but I guess that will take em a while to reply to that, as they are probably being flooded by requests/complaints by now.

    My advice: take the evening off, go drink a beer and relax (as much as youcan) ;)

    The only sad thing that pokerstars never improved: poor communication.

    It's a problem for pokerstars to tho. They're probably losing upwards of 100k per hour they don't have their servers up.
    I would asume they're doing everything in their power to fix this.

    out of 204 people in one tourn, 1 guy was sat in. ran up to 12k, everyone at his table has 1.7 and everyone else in the tourn has 3k. think he will ask for a %chop?
