  1. Hey guys. I play on Cake poker and have 33% rakeback. Does anyone know if this reduces the rate at which I earn FPPs? I am new to Cake, and it seems as if Im accumlating FPPs much slower than i have on stars/FTP. I know the normal rate is the standard 1 FPP/$1 rake, but is this number affected if your account has rakeback? Thanks in advance guys
  2. 99% sure that rakeback has no effect on your fpps at cake

Pretty sure that the three sites have three different reward programs and award points on a different basis (I know this may come as a shock to the OP)

You get half the normal FPPs you would get without rakeback. So for example normally a 10 + 1 sit n go would grant you 7 FPP's on cake (Same as full tilt too) however if you have rakeback on cake you would only get 3.5 FPPs. The nice thing though is that using the FPPs for things doesn't reduce rakeback at all.

This is exactly right, FYI. Cake switched to zero deductions a few months ago (i.e. no deductions for deposit fees, bonuses cleared, etc.), but at the same time reduced the FPP earning rate by half for rakeback accounts.

PS....moving this to the proper forum
