rake race pay

    How long does it usually take to get the money into the account? I won $100 in the Cake rake race for May. Thanks

    Hey shooter,

    They're generally paid by the 15th. Might be a little sooner, but the 15th is when I'd expect it.

    why is neither live support nor e-mail support @WL able to give the actual date of payment saying only 'sometime between the 10th and 15th'?

    Since we only get one free check a month, I'd like to know for planning purposes. Last month I got it on the 12th, month before that on the 17th. Incredibly frustrating not to have a hard date or anyone able to tell me.

    I'm sorry I don't have concrete information on that. It varies because of something that's out of our control -- we send out payment requests to UB and they are handled within a few days.

    Ummm, talking about Cake though. Yes, I've confirmed with Cake that you send them the accounts/amounts and then they do a batch payment. As of yesterday, they had yet to receive the request from WL. It really shouldn't take two weeks to gather the data that you are already live tracking and displaying on the rake race page.

    Not sure if it makes a difference, but I checked with our team today and confirmed that the requests were all sent out on the 10th. Not really sure who you talked to at Cake or why they said that, but either way, we are simply waiting for the payments to go out. We're going to contact them and make sure they're on the way.

    FWIW, since this Cake race is shared between several affiliates, we actually simply remind them and push them to make the payments. With the races we run ourselves, we actually directly request the payments, but in this case it's simply a reminder and some prodding to try and get it done quickly each month.

    One more quick note on this. I've spoken to our rakeback team and requested that they send out the requests on exactly the 10th every month going forward, assuming it's a work day. If it's not a work day, they'll send it on the following work day (the next Monday, usually). So we're going to try and help you and people in similar situations to plan for when you're going to receive payments. I can't guarantee when they'll go out, because we have to wait in the end for the sites to process them. But we're going to try and get it as consistent as possible from month to month.

    I spoke by e-mail with 'advanced support' at whitelabel (completely useless) and a supervisor at Cake customer support. It was Cake that mentioned they were waiting for the request at which point they would do a batch payment. Your comment was the first confirming the requests went out.

    Of greater concern, is that if indeed your request went out on the 10th to Cake, it has taken them five days to send out the payments (I've yet to receive it).

    ndela - I believe the reason for this, again, is that this race is shared between several affiliates and is run by Cake Poker themselves - not by us. They make the payments when they're ready, basically. All we can really do is push them to try and speed it up.

    It's now 9PM in London. Are you saying that these payments will be made in the next 3 hours or that they will not be made by the 15th?

    Apparently they're making the payments right now, FWIW. Again, please understand that we can only apply pressure as this is a race run directly by Cake Poker.
