Can someone break this down in english for a slow kid? I just can't seem to comprehend why my rakeback is -$...
Why are my rakeback statistics negative?
As rakeback is 27% of your net revenue, having a negative rakeback also means you have negative net revenue. A negative rakeback value will carry over to the next rakeback period(s). As long as your rakeback is a negative value you will not receive rakeback. You will need to generate enough revenue to bring this value back to a positive amount.
Am I folding too many hands? lol -
Hi thesendit - It isn't because you are folding too many hands. The reason would be that certain things get deducted from your MGR (27% of which you receive as rakeback). These things include:
-bonuses cleared - If you clear a $100 bonus, $100 comes out of your MGR. Only 27% of this or $27 would come out of your rakeback, but it still means there's a deduction.
-Tournament overlays - If you play a tournament with a $1000 overlay that has 100 entrants, each entrant has $10 deducted from their MGR ($2.70 from rakeback)
-FTP Points Used - For every point you spend, there's a $0.005 deduction from MGR ($0.00135 from rakeback)
-Deposit/withdrawal fees - Fees incurred by FTP for deposits/withdrawals are passed on to your rakeback affiliate. So if you make a deposit that causes a $10 fee for FTP, $10 is charged against your MGR ($2.70 from rakeback)
Best,
Adam -
thank you for clearing that up for me! i understand now.
