Hi -- it would absolutely be useful to you. No matter what limits you play, the rake is eating into your profit potential. Even if it's only $5 a month you get back, wouldn't you rather have that $5 than not?

I'd definitely recommend signing up with rakeback any time you join a new site that offers it.

  3. I joined Cake Poker through the pocket fives rakeback program and have played about 4,000 hands, mainly at the .05/.10 no limit level.

I will be getting some money back after only three weeks of play. About $20.00. I think for a micro stakes player this is a pretty nice boost every month.

The total in month two and beyond should be higher since they apply and one time deposit fee to the first month total (-$7.85 from a $150 deposit). One other thing about Cake is that the deposit bonus is subtracted from the rakeback total. Still very much worth it.
  4. 200 big blinds in rakeback for only ~4k hands played is pretty awesome. Regardless of the stakes, accumulating a couple of full buy-ins in rakeback is a huge boost to one's EV. Best of luck at the tables. :)
