  1. Cake says 'checks are being sent daily' ... I am STILL trying to find ONE U.S. Cake player who has received a check that didn't bounce within the last SIX months.

    Perhaps Cake is simply mailing checks to themselves ?

    I would welcome news from ANY U.S. Cake players who have actually been paid for a withdrawal. All this 'check is in the mail' crap is the second biggest lie in the world. The first biggest lie involves an oral sex act.
  2. I have been waiting for 3 months and 20 days on a $2900 check from Cake Poker and nothing but vague e-mails. I will never play on their site again, they are shady as F*CK.
  3. How do you cancel and transfer to Carbon? I requested a cashout on 4/30 and still nothing. I'm too afraid to cancel at this point bc I've already waited so long.
  4. Cancel pending cashout, cross your fingers and hope to find someone naive enough (or European) who will transfer with you for a decent rate on the transfer thread.
  5. Check requested from Lock on 6/21, received by Fedex, 8/17. Check requested from Cake, on 4/27, still waiting......................

  7. I don't know how ANYONE is still playing on cake. I'm thinking about a making a website and SEO optimizing it so that it comes up in the search engine right after the poker site, so people can be warned.
  8. I submitted a cashout on Lock Poker Aug 1st via western union, i waited a week before attempting to make any sort of contact. When i contacted i sent an email and attempted to call support. Calling support is a HUGE waste of time, you are unable to speak to anyone live and you are prompted to leave a voice mail leaving your name and number, that trust me, is never returned. So 5 emails later with subject "wheres my funds" I get a short email back that it is processing and thanking me for my patience. 3 more emails later i finally get an emailon the 13th saying sorry for the delay you can expect a confrimation email of your funds by the end of the week. Today august 20th was the end of the week and i again sent an email copying their last response and was given another email with the respone stating "sorry again for the delay, you can expect your confirmation email early next week" At this point i cant even be mad, all i can do is laugh. I have suspended my play on lock, whats the point of playing if i dont get paid any winnings anyway. So until i, or if i ever, receive my funds, no online poker for me.

    I get that for US players that options are pretty limited, but you would think that a company that is handling US players and accepting funds for play would want to have a little bit better customer service to try and have a good word spread so they can continue to capitalize on user base that doesnt have the options that most of the other world does. You can at least pay a couple people to bullshit me on the phone rather than prompt me to leave you a message, nothing says customer service like that. I truly hope my online friends out there are having better luck than me with cashouts with Lock poker. Good luck on the real felt, virtual felt and the cashier cages, lol
  9. Well things work pretty damn quick after posting on P5. 7 hours after my post i recieve confirmation email with western union payment details. Im on my way to pick up funds now. So i guess im back on the Lock Poker train, Choooo Chooo lol

    Will update how long check takes to arrive and if it bounces or not...

    Magically got a confirmation e-mail 2 days after I told Cake I was copy/pasting a message that I had not received a processing e-mail in 4 months in all of the ring game rooms.

    I will continue to post through Lock's software that you are not paying then, since the player base is the same. Many people did not know about your "delays" and I have helped them by warning them. Several have said they won't deposit anymore and will switch to another site. I've been in at LEAST 250 rooms over the weekend copy/pasting that your checks are not being sent out. I do not believe at all that you know nothing about your processors, that is a lie. If I ever do get my money, then I have to worry about my check bouncing from you, since now I'm finding players all over the internet with this problem. God your company is so awesome. I'm sorry I ever gave it a penny of my money. Worst. Customer Service. EVER.

    If you want to continue to screw me, I will continue to post in your poker rooms. That is all.

    What is important to note is that we have been in business 7 years and have never missed a player cashout yet.

  16. i recieved my LAST cake co earlier this month. Total time from request to check was 5 months and 2 days 4 the last one. hope u don't need the $$ anytime soon.

    +1 to the mrx about just selling it on the tranfer thread. yes u may only get like .8 on the dollar but i would think it's worth it.
  17. I received check today via FedEx...1 day after I received processing e-mail. Wil be depositing tomorrow. Plan on leaving it in my bank account for at least 10 days to make sure it doesn't bounce, as there are a few horror stories out there. Will update tomorrow after I go to bank.
  18. I'm living in the Philippines now and have a lot of $$$ sitting on cake. I have a check pending to the US for about 2 months now. I just arrived here a few days ago, so i'm not sure how to proceed...cancel my check to the US and reissue to the philippines, etc.

    Anyone on here cash out to Southeast asia countries off of Cake (NOT lock poker)? How long does it take and which method is most efficient? Thanks!

  19. finally recieved my check from cake via fed ex 2 days after i got the processing email. it only took 5 months to get that processing email tho. thats all not to long lol. i hope this check clears so i can be done with that site.

  22. JJ, mine cleared too, but since it is a foreign check, it can still bounce. Don't touch that money yet. Deposited mine yesterday, I'm waiting 10 days to be sure. Other said theirs bounced.
  23. thats fine! i opened a new account with it at a different bank and they put a 10 day hold on it themselves. my check came from canada but on the check it said that same bank had a branch in newyork and i beleve that is who the bank called because at first they werent even gonna execpt it because it was from canada until they seen that little note on the check in fine print. then everything went smoothly. but still you are right .

    Donna, thank you for your prompt reply, although I am not pleased with your response. How can you hope to compete on the same network with Lock Poker, when I received my recent withdrawal from them in less than half the time I have waited for Cake?? I would appreciate some effort to expedite this, after waiting four months. Thank you.

    My check from Lock was deposited no problem at Chase Bank. Couldn't do it thru an ATM tho.
  28. no problems yet but still not touching the money for a few more days. as of right now its in my account but just to make sure no funny buisness happens not touching it till the 6th.

  29. Requested check from Lock in March... Finally recieved it on 5/25. Put it in my bank that day, sat in a pending status for 3 months, and just now bounced on Monday. 3 months after depositing it. (bank had to send check to foreign collections to receive funds) I emailed Lock on Monday telling them and sending them front and back copies of the bounced check. They emailed me back saying they would have their cashier dept look into this. Still no word.

    Will let everyone know when I get an update.
  30. For those on lock: Y are you cashing out via checks vs. west. union? I mean it does take awhile (~3-4 weeks) but it never bounces
