I cashed out feb. 28th 2012, of of today I still have not recieved my money. I have sent several email, and i get this generic response
"Hello Michael,
Thank you for your email. We can only apologize again for the delay with your withdrawal. We are working on getting on top of the delays and hoping this won't take much longer. We will email you as soon as the funds have been sent.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Kind Regards
Sara
CakePoker Support"
Needless to say I will never play on this site again...I suggest you do the same

Thats insane, what about non U.S. players, do they have these issues?
-
I am American, but live in Europe. I would not play on any network where the cashout via bank draft takes more than a week. I would not play on any network where the cashout to moneybookers takes more than a few days. pokerstars, party (and skins), Ongame skins, Ipoker skins, pkr, and 888 are all reputable and have quick cashouts. Microgaming skins are less reputable, but the one I was playing on I had no problems, but am currently staying away from that network. Customer support does vary depending on the site and skin for non US residents as well.
I don't think many non US residents are playing on Cake because why play on a network where support is lacking and is subject to the whims of the DOJ as well. I haven't seen any reports recently about non-US residents cashouts on Cake to determine whether cashout times are similar to US. -
Cake email support is one of the quickest in the industry, and ROW players on 2p2 were reporting withdrawals of 1-3 days for large amount via MB. Plus, Cake is the only network remaining that offers Dealt RB exclusively, plus with other rewards, some players can easily get the equivalent of over 100% RB that they would get if it were calculated as contributed RB. That's why you actually see quite a bit of ROW players there now.

Interesting to see other fellow cake poker players experiencing similar problems.

I had check request on 12/25/2011, Christmas, as of last week April 29, STILL PENDING.
That's over 4 MONTHS of waiting time. Finally i cancelled the request and started playing on cake again.
My check request was exactly $513.00, so it was over the minimum $500 check requirement.
UPDATE 5/9/2012- I just joined a 7$ rebuy and add-on tourney, and they wouldnt even let me UNREGISTER!
This is how shady and unprofessional cake poker is getting.
ALL fellow online poker players, please do yourself a favor and stray away from this site.
I myself am currently looking for alternative US poker sites to play real money.
I am also located in New York City, meaning most of the Merge gaming sites are closed off to my state.
Anyone have suggestions or luck? I am seriously considering contacting Poker Refugee to relocate to a nearby country for some reasonable online poker action. Might just want to join a team or house of other fellow online poker players reminescing the freedom prior to black friday.
Best of luck everyone!

I have a $2900 pending check from Cake (who I swore off from EVER playing on again). I recently switched to Lock...so does that mean Lock might process my check before the absolutely ridiculous 3 month period cake takes?
-
It's not 10-15 business days like it's advertised. Check the internet. Takes three months, so don't expect anything anytime soon. Cake Poker is a bunch of crooks. I will never play on their site again.
-
yeah ive seen alot more people offering swaps on Cake funds especially after LOCK made the announcement.....but you also need to remember that many casual players will not know about this stuff much less trust some random euro who offers to do it but only if they send first!

anyways, lets hope cake gets better....its got so much potential. -
I'm talking about the players posting in this thread. If they found this, they had to see the transfer thread. It's the largest related poker thread on P5's and never leaves page 1. Obviously you research whoever you are trading with as well before you just ship funds to someone.

....and right next to the transfer threads are numerous "ALERT: ______ is a SCAMMER" followed by two or three pages of people commenting how shocked they are because they dealt with this guy numerous times, how someone with a 1mill badge has resorted to scamming a few thousand, etc etc
ive been around the forums for a couple years now and I still do not feel comfortable swapping thousands of dollars with someone i only know from online the forums....someone with $11abi like me....it takes months of grinding just to win a couple thousand sometimes and its not worth it to pay 15% vig or whatever + the risk of losing it all if someone decides they need the money more than I do. -
I don't think P5s has had one scam where it involved someone who regularly trades in 2012. The people getting scammed in that thread are the ones not using common sense and sending first to people with no posts and no trading history. The people trading and sending first to those that have a good reputation and have had successful trades in the past haven't had a problem this year. Of course you can get unlucky here, but if you are using common sense it is extremely unlikely you will get scammed in the site transfer thread.

All you Cake grinders in the US out there...Can you give me some feedback on the cash out process?
How long does it take?
Is it legit?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. -

I don't just want it off there, I neeeeeed it off there! (car problems, student loans) -
Im experiencing lots of issues trying to cash out on Lock, customer service hasn't answered an email for 6 days now, no live support, no telephone support, ive got cashouts past the usual time period to receive them via lock cashier, and dont hear a PEEp from the site, any ideas? who do i contact?
-
i was so just coming to post this. I tried to Cashout Via Western Union on Monday and they said they sent an email that said they recieved my request and that they would email me when verified. i to have made cashouts before via check but i did western union this time because i hear it is faster. i to emailed them a few times to find out how long it takes to verify.. No Reply Back. A person i know cashed out Via western union on merge Sunday and his money is ready for him to pick up already.
Please let me know if you hear anything -
Ya ive done 5 or 6 WU already through Lock, all of which were approved processed and the pickup info sent to me within one week, although they were all during the Merge days, and my last one was apprved may 29th, its been 11 days now, i can see it has been approved and its just waiting to be sent, very frustrating though as they are impossible to get ahold of, ive sent 3-4 emails each day now. Poker is my current only means of income so this is brutal for them to be so neglectful and careless about the delays..
-
add the words "are a fucking joke" to the end of the thread title
it's time to get more abrasive, these fucks at lock are treating their customers like dirt, perhaps if they get called out publicly they might give a shit
and no, you're far from the only one with this issue, lock support apparently have no fucking clue what their job is -
Haha aight yea its pretty fucked up, i am relying on the site i got like 3k on there, not a shit ton but money i need to have, LOCK CAN U ANSWER 1 FUCKING EMAIL? YOU OFFERD "24 7 AROUND THE CLOCK SUPPORT" on your NEW TRANSITION TO REVOLUTION< HELLO WHERE IS IT???? RUNNING OUT OF TIME AND PATIENE
-
i've been waiting to hear from them since may 23rd btw, sent them emails daily in the meantime, so some friendly advice: don't hold your breath

they emailed me on 29th and 2nd telling me it can take up to 7days, now nothing since then, oh they can send me a promotional email tho just now today ,, fucking croooks cant reply but they can spam email me.
-
After sending them several emails day after day, they finally emailed me back tonight basically giving me the run around. The email said something like.
"We are extremely respectful to our customers and your emails have been very rude. We are sorry for the delay and have given your case to our cashier manager. Your check has been processed and should be delivered within 5-15 business days. Thank you for your patience."
Although, 2 weeks ago they told me I would have my check by the end of that week or the beginning of the next, I at least finally got a response. Still pretty shady and uneasy feeling, but maybe they just got overloaded on the new network and trying to get all caught up. I also have a Western Union that has been "authorized" for 9 days, so we'll see. Just trying to be positive.
GL all! -
Hi I have been trying to make a withdrawal from Lock Poker ($1500) - they had me fill out all kinds of paperwork, which I wasn't real comfortable doing - but i did - got an email that I would get details in 72 hours - that was 3 weeks ago - no word - all my emails ignored. Are these guys legit or can I kiss my $ goodbye? Any advice?
-
They are legit, but cashout times are inconsistent and unreliable. And their support is often unresponsive. My suggestion is to follow this thread to keep up with how cashouts are going at the moment. 99% sure you will get your money, but it may be delayed.

Delayed...100+ days I have been waiting...Their support is awesome they respond very quickly to tell you they have no idea when you will get your $$$. Very FRUSTRATING! Additionally, my account shows I can cancel the cash out? WTF is that? Is Cake just waiting for me to start playing again or is the process not even started?
-
Very long time - DO NOT DEPOSIT ON THIS SITE

For fun and to test it I deposited $25, ran it up to $70 in a night and cashed it all out (min. cashout is $500 btw, but if you email them and ask to have your entire balance withdrawn they'll make an exception) -
Hey folks, I am looking to take the bulk of my bankroll off of Revolution. I'm just fed up with sending legitimate issues to their "Customer Service," and not getting any help. I made my initial deposit using a visa, but haven't had a chance to verify my account. What do you guys this of this idea (maybe someone else has tried it)? I thought about making a deposit using Western Union just so that I can pull my money off? Last I checked, the minimum deposit for WU is $100. Could I make a deposit using WU for $100, then turn around and pull off like $2k using WU? I heard the turnaround was 2-3 days with WU, so that's why I'm looking into this option.
Any advice is appreciated

im in the process of pulling my money of by WU and its been a week now. no money and no response back
