  1. that some of the pro's/shareholders should pay back the players atleast a % of what they were paid from revenue generated from the players that were basically stolen from? i'll just cut and paste the post i made in another thread that inspired this thread and we can discuss...

"i mean i guess it is a bit like going after a blackjack dealer at a casino that closed/went bankrupt when you had 10k in a lockbox lol but still seems somewhat reasonable to me.

like if they were paid from revenue that was generated from players that were more or less stolen from i really dont think it is all that crazy tbh. esp considering all the loans and tounrey buy-ins tht players rec'vd from ftp. i remember reading that benyamine was able to cashout from the US post b/f and was even heard on the phone in a vegas casino asking some1 from ftp where he needed to go to get his tourney buyins this summer and that really makes me mad..like really?? they can pay out $$ to sum millionaire and give him tourney buyins for 10k's n shit but i can get my measly 6k??

fml and better yet fuck ftp."

i honestly dont think this is that unreasonable...any1 else feel the same way?

  2. I don't think they should be obligated tbh, however, Durrr has said in a 2+2 thread that he will give back $1m (might be more, but this amount sticks in my mind) if its >90% that FTP won't be paying out or if this stalls on for alot longer in a lottery type format to people owed money. I think this is more for a reputation saver than for other reasons, as I doubt Durrr was involved into the day to day business of FTP.
  3. I think that somebody should be held resposible. Im actually suprised that none of the persons involved with ftp have been bodily injured or killed over this. Most pros probably had little to nothing to do with ftp daily operations- however, the whole Ivey debacle really gets under my skin. I mean how can he borrow 10 ish mil from ftp and just not pay it back when that money could be used to partially repay players.

  5. If that is the case... The affiliate sites *cough should pony up too? Most of them, unlike what we know from pros contiued to get paid during and after BF, even for American rake the previous weeks. They also contributed to not letting the issues before, and after really come to light via players concerns. By manipulating forums, "sub" forums, and merging of post imo. When all the crap started happening, they should have stepped up for the players esp the larger ones. When it was obv things started going badly back to NOV2010/

lols at "Hope" still floating around tho... news flash, it is a lil late.

  6. FUCK YOU FULL TILT

  7. Listening to the youtube videos of Tony G from quadjacks really sums it up for me. The ftp pros were paid out with our money without willing to payback the players that have always paid them. These sponsored pros have lived nice lives with millions in contracts and are selfishly handling matters. This ship is going down and the only life boats left are for those who have already been helped.

Lederer and Bitar deserve a nice stay in there nearest Vegas penitentiary for a long time and hopefully instilling fear in the rest of the FTP pros will get the situation on a better path. The whole situation is the sikest thing I've ever been a part of.

I was thinking the same thing. You can't just steal large sums of money from millions of people and not expect some sever consequences.

If player funds are not accounted for, there is no profit. So until all of the player account balances have been met in full, everyone that benefited from the FTP "rake" is going to be seen as accepting funds that were stolen from the players (knowingly or not). This includes all CEO and board member compensation, site pro salaries, and possibly affiliate payments (although affiliate payments are directly derived from rake generated from specific players, so they shouldn't really be held accountable). When you think about it, affiliate payments could be the only funds that were legitimately spent by this company.

I have heard some ENORMOUS figures regarding annual compensation for guys near the top. Until player account balances are met, this should be considered stealing.

  13. is all the money gone ? if p.s. paid out over 100 mil, say tilt had 50 mil in unpaid player funds. why can't they pay out what they have. start with 1k per player, something anyways. i've given them slack
but this question is becoming bothersome to me.
  14. Gotta love the latest FTP press release from today:
Full Tilt Poker apologizes for its lack of communication with its customers over the last month and a half, but it has been grappling with unexpected and complex legal and financial issues arising from Black Friday and its aftermath.
