Doyle giving credit to Lederer for the deal (if it's true)....ridiculous

I'll believe it when the DOJ or Stars announces it. Most reports seem to think there was progress made but this could still take years. -
Here's a recap of a few of the ongoing rumors. PocketFives has not been able to confirm any of this independently, so we're cautiously optimistic:

because texas brunson isnt a giant retard or anything.
He wouldnt even bet his life? What is that a year and a half of shitting in an adult diaper? Doesnt sound too confident -
Wasn't it a few months back he was defending Howard Lederer as well? I respect what he's done for the game of poker but to defend or give any credit to that scumbag POS is a joke.

Looks like you full tilt players are getting paid ^^ -
Not to be redundant, but when it comes to matters involving legal proceedings, Gambling911 has an outstanding track record for accuracy. It's somewhat hard to believe because they are a tabloid style site, and they get a LOT of gambling stories wrong, and in fact, they almost embarrass themselves with some "stories" they break. Many things they break are just downright goofy. But oddly, when it comes to legal matters, they have a lot of credibility, probably more than just about anybody. They say they have done the leg work to be informed of such things through filing proper forms and the affirmation of a judge to allow them access to such info. I don't know what that even entails, or how true that is, but their proven track record with legal matters cannot be discounted.

How 'bout #congratspokerstarspwnsface?..I know they wouldn't do it if there wasn't alot of money to be made running the site seperately, but this is just another example of PS showing why they are the greatest poker brand in the world..

The guy who tweeted this on twitter has removed his tweet.. So that may mean this story is false -
I'll never forget mine, to the cent (granted it was a rounded one so pretty easy to remember).

2p2 is in a frenzy since Friday. The containment thread will be burnt to the ground if this comes out as total BS.
I will believe it when I see a rep from each company standing on a podium announcing to us that the DEAL IS DONE.
Until then regardless of their credibility I will take any posters claim with a grain of salt.
This frigging road just never ends. -
It is in God's hands.

I like many of you are anxiously awaiting this outcome. I just discovered that all charges against Raymond Bitar were severed on Friday July 27th from the overall case against pokerstars and Fulltilt. A new judge was granted and he will have to plea or settle his case of his own. Thisis per "Marlena" from the Southern District Court Records office at 212-805-0136

i hope there is a some way to figure out what my ftp balance was. i have an idea, give or take $500, but do not know the exact number. (thinly veiled brag there.)

"...Gambling911.com filed its Motion to Intervene related to the probe of Full Tilt Poker back in 2009 and, as per the “right to access information” awarded to Gambling911 and its parent company Costigan Media by the Honorable Judge Laura Taylor Swain, confirmation has been obtained that all players owed monies by Full Tilt Poker will be receiving their funds with an announcement forthcoming directly from the US Attorney’s Office very shortly....."

wtf is this? ^^^^ -
Weird - I can't fathom that Gambling911 had a legimate reason to file a motion to intervene unless they had some kind of stake in the outcome of a particular case. Moreover, it says they filed in 2009 in connection with a probe, well before Black Friday. I don't get it either.

Hope they're right about the deal, tho. -
Fingers crossed this is real. Two issues for me:
1- what was my balance? I know I got most of it out but still had some in it.
2- what was my password? -
Would be absolutely shocked if any real news came out anytime soon... here's hoping to being absolutely shocked.
