How do you find bic/swift codes for your local banks? And which of the two do you use or does it not matter? I've always done bank transfers under 10k and never really needed these codes and now stars is saying CASH it all out at once!
Please don't say just google it because I get different codes each time.
thanks -
I just called my local branch and got them over the phone.
I think (not 100%) that Swift code is only for international transfers and it will be a BIC code u need (again not 100%)
Hope that helps a litlle -

Yup. The first time I had to set that up with stars I went in and told my branch I had an international transfer coming in and they needed a SWIFT code. They actually had a sheet printed with all of the info I needed. Worked fine.
