  1. *stars Transfer Problems...

Tonight a friend of mine was supposed to transfer some money to my account. We have transferred between accounts many times before. Well, he spelled my onlinename incorrectly and transferred to the wrong person.

We realized this within a couple hours and I notified stars right away. I gave them all the information, including time and transaction number. They wrote back and said they needed one of 2 things to make it right. They either needed my friend (the one who transferred) to e-mail them from the account connected to his stars account, requesting that they correct it OR a list of personal information to confirm his identity, if he could not access his e-mail. If he couldnt access his e-mail they would need to call and speak to him to verify his identity and confirm the mistake.

Well, my friend is older and cannot remember his e-mail password (he keeps passwords in his office) anyway, we provided ALL information requested and then some. After sending that they e-mailed back and basically said we are out of luck if he cant e-mail them from the email they have on file.

Can they give us a way to fix this and then just refuse to honor that? We can provide ANYTHING they culd possibly need to fix this mistake. It sould be obvious to begin with but I can understand privacy policies.

THIS WAS A SIMPLE MISTYPED NAME... How can this be possible? How can we fix this? Someonefrom Stars... HELP!!

  2. need to write to support@<a href="http://www.pocketfi...rstars</a>.com with URGENT in the title. This is the only way to resolve it, and this is 50/50 at best to work.
  3. Did that they said they would fix it if he wrote from his e-mail or

If the player cannot access their registered email address, please ask them to provide the following information from their current email address:

    - pokerstars User ID
    - Full name
    - Any email address which may be registered to the account
    - The postal address registered to the account (+ ZIP/postcode)
    - A telephone number in case we need to contact them

We gave ALL this info and then some because he cannot access his email.
Now they came back and will not keep their word and decided even though they have ALL that information they still will not help..

Why would they say if you confirm all this info we will fix it and then not do it?

  4. Need to email them back, might not hurt to also email security@<a href="http://www.pocketf...rstars</a>.com. Unfortunately, the PS rep only comes here occasionally when discussing something new about the site.
