    I woke up this morning after one of the most depressing Fridays of my life to date. I was thinking about possible playing poker today on another site other then stars or Tilt. Do you first suggest me doing this, and second do you have any suggested sites that I should play on? I was thinking about giving UB.net a shot, but I just don't know....god.

    probably best to wait and see what happens in the next few days before you make a move.

    def not UB or AP, they are being hit too. If you don't have money on a site like Cake or Bodog I would just wait it out and take a break for a little while, and wait for the dust to settle.

    Because they weren't implicated in the DoJ's statement. They did not deal with this TZERKDSITCI dude. This is more about bank fraud and wire fraud than it is about running a poker site that allows poker playing.

    To me, this is deeper than just playing online poker.
    stars is just an incredible company, w easy cash in cash out, great software, service, upgrades and professionalism.

    But what are we free to do. Budz illegal, online poker illegal, drinking is dangerous because of car accidents, duis, fights.
    There are no jobs anymore; America was a service economy, but since no one has expendable income which was essentially borrowed money, service industry dies. No one orders a pizza, goes to a tanning salon, etc. Even government jobs are not paying. My last job owes me 2000 dollars they refuse to pay.
    So to me its about freedom; and options being obliterated.
    Then if you actually win money your profits are taxed. Then these major sites were charging 10 percent 15 percent rake.
    How good does one have to be to profit. 10 percent goes to rake 15 percent goes to taxes then on top of that you have to win the game. Then on top of that, players use huds etc which in my opinion is just shady, wrong , bad for poker.
    The other sites have an opportunity make online poker better.
    easy deposit cash out
    ban poker software
    good customer service
    great game play
    The major problem with alternative sites is $100 minimum deposits and low traffic.
    5 percent rake stop raking all the money when the software does all the work they aint paying dealers etc
    its just a fleecing of the player.
    MTTS 2000+ pay structure too top heavy and paying too many players. First place should not be double third
    If anything I hope things may change for the better.
    I have voted for libertarians for 16 years they have a great party platform. Mostly freedom.
    are all merge sites interrelated? such as absolute ub share same player base/
    options- bodog, Victory check rakeback for details i guess
    party poker execs smoking fat cigar right now.
    The player fields in stars mtts were too big and late registration too long I saw one dude rebuy $100 for 4 bb blinds were like 500-1000 in tourney went all in next hand and lost. he shouldn't have been able to do that really.
    Ub is not processing cash in or cash out
    Maybe online poker gets a whole new makeover everyone start clean but set parameters for how things should be.
    But its just not about online poker, its about freedom being stripped all around you. God bless.

    there is an old saying...not guilty unless caught. the way cake and bodog are processing deposits is the same....fraud and laundering. doj just hasnt gone after them yet. pokerstars and tilt are the big boys. doj understands that there is more to seize going after stars and tilt as oppose to cake and bodog.

    being a us citizen, you couldnt pay me enough money to deposit on any site right now.

    come on bud...lets think a little bit before we ask such questions....the UIGEA has nothing to do with you. you feel its effects but you are not breaking any law. only the sites.
