  1. Anyone know how?
  2. There is no way....You can always inform Bovada of your frustrations....but expect a generic response that solves nothing...

  3. It is correct that we do not currently offer this feature.

As a client of the Bodog Poker Network we have passed this feedback along and they have assured us it is feature that will be added, however we don’t yet have a timeline. We know this may sound generic but there are several features being worked on since the initial launch of the new client so committing to a date we may then miss we believe is even more frustrating.

I doubt there's much you guys could do worse than telling the entire poker community last fall to look forward to an update & rebranding etc & then dump this garbage insult to poker site on us. I guess a Full Tilt $ style mess would be worse but..
  5. Even the reps are a joke on this site

Edit: Feel like its one giant level

+1. I think p5's should ban the rep & put up a banner similar to the one they did recently regarding US facing sites, but specifically for bovada & their issues. It's obvious they hate us(anybody who attempts to get better at poker at all) & it's really insulting for them to keep trying to pass this off & take advantage of US players to profit.
  8. Bovada is a sports betting site that happens to have a poker client. It isn't their focus and it will never be their focus. I highly doubt they have more than one programmer who is in charge of the poker client, and that one programmer has been on medical leave for about 3 years.

Any idea when you guys will get around to fixing the whole 'no screen name' thing. I mean, there's no way a poker room would do that on purpose.

This is on of the reasons why I feel anonymous tables is laughable on Bodog/Bovada. Anonymous tables will in my opinion encourage cheating and collusions, and will also tempt insiders to take advantage since there the players themselves can't help police the site. If a site like pokerstars gets a ton of assistance from players to find cheaters and colluders, do you really think Bodog (now Bovada), where poker has always taken a backseat compared to its sports and casino aspects of their site, will be truthful that they can police 100% of the collusion themselves? Its either they are intentionally misrepresenting that they do not need player's help in catching cheaters themselves, or just plain naive thinking they can do this without player's help.

  11. What FK?! How do i play poker in the USA? This room sounds like a huge scam! Why can't this Bovada Rep give us any insurance that their poker room is THE TRUTH? I am looking for legit honest online poker room to become the best I possibly can...To me it just sounds like they are hiding something.
  12. Legit+honest+US poker does not compute
  13. Bovada support treat you like your a number to them.

Ill never play there again till they show screen names
  14. Me niether.......I won $5 with a free prop bet they gave me for the superbowl, sat at a table for the first time since the whole anonomys thing, was super tilted because i could not find preferred seat (which had been there for years) and the whole anonomys things sucked too.

  15. It truly is tilting, was about to make this exact thread last week. Cant multi-table efficiently searching for my seat. Another thing that tilts me, is when I click the fold checkbox, and someone raises, it ask me if I want to call? WTF, if i click fold to the blind, im not callin a raise, It means im done with the hand and im moving on. But another button always pops up when the actions on me. Why bodog does the fold checkbox exist when it doesnt work properly?
  16. Fact: There are only a handful of poker sites available in the US
Fact: Bovada (formerly Bodog) has a large client base
Fact: Bovada doesn't seem to care to put the two facts above together and make themselves money via poker.

There are only two reasons why they don't want to invest in creating a better poker client.

    1. They are idiots (and I don't think they are);
    2. They know the US government is targeting poker sites, so in order to protect their money makers (sports book, casino), they create a bad poker site with minimal activity and hope the government looks the other way (bigger poker fish to fry).

It's just frustrating for us (US poker players) because we do have so few options. And obviously we can't get them to confirm this because they would basically be admitting to trying to deflect the attention of the US government, which is a sure way to get more attention.

  17. Just played on Bovada for the first time since the switch from Bodog. No player names and the worst sound in the market and I just cashed out the rest and Im gone.

Edit: I was keeping money in Bovada to play the upcoming tournament series they are running but I can justify the headache of dealing with the software. Ill leave enough in to play the ME, $450 or whatever it is. But the software tilts me to no end. Cant wait to be back on stars.

  18. Can't say I disagree with much on here but the tournies are still very profitable so that counts for something. I dont think collussion for MTTs is much of a problem, maybe cash games are more of a risk.

Most frustrating thing to me is no synchronized breaks, so tough to grind a schedule without it.

Bovada any chance of this ever happenning?

Another frustrating thing is that your screen doesn't pull up when your on the clock, I time out over and over with a full screen but not on Merge bc those screens pop up.

This is my problem. It makes it almost inconvenient to play on the site.

Thanks for the feedback; we've passed it on to the right people. Just to note: although the software will not pop up if you have other windows in front of it, it will blink on the task bar to notify you of your turn. As well, a sound will be played if you have sounds enabled within the software.

LMAO, even this response is pretty much automated.. This is hands down the worst thing ever... First you treat everyone as a number (literally); and then you throw us all over the place on tables while we are playing- so that we can keep bitching about the fact that you do absolutely nothing to cater to the players who actually know how a respectable poker site should run. Instead you bullshit us about how "you're working on it....." even though you know this will not be changed in the next 6 months
