If you havent already seen in the lobby stars have upped alot of their gtd's, pretty awesome...
The big 5.50 is now 20k
the big 8.80 is now 25k
the big 22 is now 50k
the big 109 is now 100k
the big 11 is now 75k
the big 55 is now 125k
And its not just the "bigs" almost every daily mtt has a bigger gtd now! wooooohoooo! thank you!!! -
yeah noticed this earlier, pretty cool, 1r 3x is now a 60k grantee lol
bout time to be fair, stars have been guarantee nits for some time. -
all these new guarantees were beaten daily anyway, maybe a few of the smaller tournaments will get a few more players but it really wont change the payouts
-
i actually think their euro market has grown
-
greeks and spanish ftw!!
Guarantees obv plummeted after BF now they are getting fat and juicy again. True stars were Guar. nits but this is a great step and reflects the way the market has bounced back. The double vision was great too. A new ad campaign and live tourneys popping up all over the place. Stars you rock! -
please one time may all the things fall in place for my move abroad

In a strange way, BF possibly helped Stars longterm even though in the short-term they took a big financial hit. When they paid off all US players after black Friday, and FTP didn't, PS got most of the FTP traffic to themselves. Sites like party and betfair were hoping that when something like black friday hit, that people that were playing on Stars, FTP, UB/AP would all flock to them. This didn't happen, and Stars is as big as ever consolidating the customers from their site and FTP's non-US customers.

They are certainly pulling out all the stops and bringing their A-game to make sure they keep ahead of the field - in preparation for when new competition enters/re-enters the market it seems..... -
ahhhh i should have my acct reinstated and can start playing in thailand within the next few weeks!
-
yeah not sure why they dont just double vission all of their flagships since people were playing 30 to 40 tables with mets in the mix.... big void stars can capitalize on

stars is obviously a well run company overall and is currently setting the standard for all competitors.

it would be nice to have a strong nr.2/3/4 that would hopefully make them to go back with the rake or increase rakeback, sponsorship deals, live tournament series etc...just to have the market not stagnate but rather more dynamic like it was 2-3 years ago.
n°1 priority for ALL sites though is to have a high credibility and no BS a la UB / FTP and them :(
the reason I actually posted here was to suggest the fllwg to stars reps. (hopefully they ll read it)..why would u not offer at least once a week 1 tourney where stars ALLWAYS adds 10% added money on top of the total prize pool..now that would be a cool promo and would easily top off the total entries the sunday storm is currently reaching
