give them a few months, then email them back. knocking on their door until they answer is only going to piss them off.

Since Dealace is so quick to out everyone I think it might be time to to turn the tables on you my friend. You talk down to people suspected of cheating but somehow or another you sustain an roi of 229% playing only sattelites where it is in fact impossible to run that good, be that lucky or be that good in a structure that is generally based on coinflip situations. Do you rat people out on a regular basis for some beneficial software, superuser account or just on the AP/UB cuff? Something is definitley not right with this picture and I will figure it out, it's only a matter of time.
-
Good one, sir! You know dealace1 well.
He was the guy that ratted on me the time I did not know it was against the rules and got my chat banned.
He wasn't even in the game at the time but saw my chat on a table i was at with him.
When a friend of mine asked him about it he lied and said he had no clue why mt chat was banned.
If he can lie, he can cheat.
I believe he reports everyone so they will never suspect him of cheating.
Plays any 2 crap cards all in and wins. Good player? Cheater? Or just lucky? -
I dont really think there's such thing as cheating in online poker these days, Humans just cant win from coded scripts or anything like that. Yes maybe he runs extremely good, But really cheating? there's no such thing that let you win tournaments or sng's or cash games, Poker is alot of skill but also alot of luck. As that being said I just think he is extremely lucky, And I cannot say anything else about this kid since I dont have a clue who what or where he is.

I am being threatened again? Let me address that. I did email AP on Aug 9th 2009 (re-read the date, over a year ago) about this situation. I also gave them a few recommendations for how to change their structures to remove the temptation. (ie extend late registration and continue it beyond the first elimination, both things they have done) I was upset not so much that people were colluding but that I was being relentlessly abused for not doing it. It got so bad that a few of the regulars would openly softplay each other and try and knock me out during late game and them chop the prize if successful. I felt like I was being put in a shitty situation of being considered the 'bad guy' for not colluding and I wanted the site to make the games fair. These guys really did have an unbelievable feeling of entitlement to cheat the site that they would abuse those that didn't agree.

Bluffer I apologize for previous posts, didn't read your chat with support. Good luck with getting your funds back and PM me for more info on this
The site did indeed step up and chat ban some people and things for the most part settled down and the games continued. Guys like salz and others continued to do it but I knew the site was monitoring periodically and figured eventually it would stop completely. I knew this because I had a call from security out of the blue once because they saw that I was explaining the reason I didn't agree to shove first hand and they thanked me and offered a seat to a game as a thanks. As part of this conversation he mentioned that they were going to ban the guys doing it. I selfishly suggested that he simply warn them since they were such terrible players and having them on the site was good. All I cared about is that I could continue to play with out being berated for 'ruining their overlay'
I did not participate in this overlay collusion for very logical reasons. I was concerned of it being considered cheating by the site (think back to high stakes players being penalized for encouraging rebuys) There is no way in hell I want my account standing jeopardized on a site I make a living from. I know its against the rules to collude and I know sites can do as they please if they suspect you of doing it. The games were super soft and my win-rate was off the charts without relying on cheating the site. Not to mention that if the cheating continued the result was going to be that AP would stop offering the games and that would kill my golden goose. This had indeed happened and is the reason the games don't run all night or in the mornings on the weekends like they use to. Nobody could expect AP/UB to not notice which games were resulting in overlay and eventually stop offering them.
This was back in 2009 so it has nothing to do with recent actions by the site.
So back to the thinly veiled threat. The site is managing their own shit. I just play, I don't have a hotline to the security department. If your friend is a regular and he lost his chat/account/funds I really doubt that he did so without knowing that the site was cracking down and people had been warned about it. I mean it was a daily occurrence that someone would mention that it was against the rules when it was suggested first hand. If he lost anything it would be due to his own actions.
I hope this puts the end to threats. I take it seriously and both myself, my family, and the site are well aware of the sources. -
dont really know whats going on here, but ocanobeer you come of as more of a douche with each post you make
-
So what your saying is you ran to support once again with your tail between your legs? Nowhere did anyone threaten your family. But you are so quick to judge everyone else and run to support and tell! Do you think you are the only person that relies on the money made in poker for their family? Now that being said, you don't think people aren't going to be pissed about money getting seized because of what you say? It's a small world buddy and what comes around goes around and now that you have been outed as an online rat muppett that benefits no one but the site itself. You killed your own action pal because I don't no anyone that wants to play with a P.O.S like you that runs and tells when things don't go his way.

I'm not saying cheating is cool at all because cheating definitley ruins the integrity of the game. What I am saying is if the site wants to be so stupid and run a structure that the players can actually get one up on, all the power to the player. But when theres a wannabe internet cop that patrols these sattelites and rats everyone out for the sites stupidity, got no use for ya. There is a reason for the site catching on to the gig, because of your big mouth! -
do you really think that ub is banning accounts solely on what dealace says? really???? please dealace, give me your secret code word...
-
Yawn...... not sure what's going on here then don't comment. The site runs ultra turbo sattys and what happens is people that go in them simply agree to go allin first hand and winner takes all. Now the site runs these absolutely mental structures and when this happens it puts all kinds of value in it for the player and the site loses. Imagine that, the player gets one up on the site. So you get dealace1 running to support and flapping and crying that this is going on and people lose their funds and account and I am the douche? You can go fuck yourself and now that you have said that will make it my personal goal to pwn you harder than I already do at every table I see you at.

lmao you wont see me nor do you see me unless you play bodog. and yes your a huge monster massive douche, if you think
Edited By: aupoker1 Mar 16th, 2011 at 05:17 PM
1) any kind of cheating or collusion is not banworthy.
2) that ub or any site randomly bans accounts based on an email from some dude -
Do me a favour and get a clue and pull your head out of your ass. You are just another moron with no clue throwing in his 2 cents. If you read the rest of the posts you would read that Dealace admits to ratting and if you think that he had no part in it there is no doubt in my mind you wear a helmet and chew on your shoulders while riding the shortbus. As far as it being collusion.... the whole table agrees so who are they colluding against? Guess it's safe to assume you didn't complete your education at coconut college?
-
ok last post as a pissing contest with you isnt even fun. i did read and apparently not everyone at the table was agreeing to this every time and would openly get berated in chat, and have the others intentionally try and knock him out, so back in 2009 the guy wrote an email. reading comprehension ftw
-
This post is 100% truths!
-
Like I said previously... my buddy was reprimanded in this and I know first hand what is happening. If you consider the table one upping a site cheating that is your perogative. If a player thinks that there is something wrong with it, tell the other player about it. Don't run to support and get funds seized and account banned. No one at the table was being cheated out of anything. Only people who were losing is the site. They run the retarded structure they deserve it. It's a losing proposition for them yet they continue to do it, that is there fault. Dealace makes himself out to be some sort of victim here.... he's nothing but a rat that has cost people thousands of dollars in account seizures. Guess I am a douche then.... IMO your a fkin idiot.... guess we're even!

As for that Mark I have no idea and can't vouch for that. What I can vouch for is my buddy who could of lost the 10's of thousands of dollars in his account that he earned leugitmately becuase of someone else felt the need to run to support and tell everytime something don't go his way when in the long run this guy runs like the god of all gods with an absolutely ridiculously unrealistic roi. Now what is going on here? I am a decent player and know the odds in the longrun of these Sattelite sng's and know that a 229% sustained roi is absolutely impossible. So who is the cheater here?
-
when ur in them anything possible.

Mark, maybe you should read the whole thread before commenting.
I do not have 3 accounts, only the 2 that are allowed. 1 ub 1 ap.
I have never been caught blatantly cheating or colluding. My chat was banned a few months ago for agreeing to go all in, but did not know it was it was against the rules, since I saw it happening every day.
After I was warned, I never did it again and even told people it was wrong when I saw them trying to do it.
This time, I made no agreements yet they closed my account without explanation. -
Last time I checked, you could only be a "rat" if you told on somebody for doing something. The OP is clearly guilty - UB won't ban people for no reason, and he has already admitted to shady behavior. It is not Dealace's fault that anybody got banned or reprimanded, it is their own fault for breaking the site's rules.

You are blatantly talking about exploiting the structure of a specific tournament in order to abuse an overlay. This is definitely not UB's intention. By forcing UB to contribute money to the prize pool, you're effectively stealing money from them. Just because you don't feel like you're colluding against other players (even though by agreeing to play a certain way with other players, you would be colluding), the site has definitely been cheated against. As such, they're going to ban anybody who doesn't follow their rules and confiscate funds to make up for money that was stolen from them.
Your only arguments against Dealace are him having a good ROI and contacting support. There's nothing wrong with that. If I curse in chat and somebody calls a moderator, are they being a rat? Just because your upset that you can't exploit UB anymore doesn't mean you have to be pissed at somebody that closely follows the rules.
The OP wasn't banned for no reason, he deserved it. Even if he wouldn't have gotten caught if Dealace hadn't said anything, this doesn't change the fact that the OP did something wrong. I really don't see how you can argue against this. -
Well Mark, they could not have known that because it's simply not true.
If you thought that, you are also wrong.
Maybe pick smarter friends?
Again, my chat was banned months ago because I did not know the rules.
This time, my account was closed without supplying me with details or allowing me to defend myself against their wrongful assumptions. -
Ignorance doesn't exempt you from the rules though. You admitted that you have agreed to go all-in at one point, and this is really all UB needs in order to ban you. For all we know, maybe they were looking back at that case yesterday and decided to just ban you for it. It really seems like there's more to this than that though, but we don't really have a ton of information.

Props to UB/AP for banning colluders. Another sign they are cleaning up their act. If the OP wasn't cheating, PM Cereus Adirenne and she might take the time to sort you out. Minimally it seems like Ocanobeer's friend was cheating and many others rightfully got their accounts banned. Maybe its possible OP wasn't involved and got caught up with the necessary clean-up Good job drewace in reporting this, probably at least had some impact in them looking into it.

Fuck Colluders! (and cheaters, scammers, multiaccounters, and thieves) -
Everyone has to click "I read and accept the terms and conditions of this site" or something similar before they open an account. Since you did this THREE times bigbluffer, you should have known the rules. Just because you clicked accept without reading it does not mean your stupidity should be rewarded. If you did not know the rules it is your responsibility to find them out by proactively contacting support. Oceanobeer you are a disgrace to the canadian presence here on p5s. Your "friend" cheated, someone didnt like getting abused by the cheater so they contacted support. They didnt hit an autoban super god mode button that they have, they emailed support. Support reviewed your "friend's" case and found that they were in fact cheating. Cheating is cheating is cheating, no matter what you want to say. It doesnt matter who initiated the review, the fact that they were cheating is the only detail necessary in this case.
